Episode 1

This looks like a very interesting dram.

Anyway, it started with General Wen Xi being the last man standing against General Lu Yuantong and his vast army.

Then an arrow which sure to kill her came her way.  The big gate of the kingdom opened up and out came a hooded mystery man called Lu Er.

He carried the dying Wen Xi into the lake and told her that she will not die.  He gave her a flute that would useful to her as he let her submerged into the water.  As a last piece of advice, he told her to be happy.

She woke up swimming in very flimsy clothing. She came up from the water directly to the sea-view mansion of the bathing Feng Xi.

She took a set of clothing and wore them.  She was just in time to fight off the assassins who came for Feng Xi.

Feng Xi was rather impressed with Wen Xi’s fighting skills and more so when one of the assassins dislodged her long shiny dark hair.  She was gorgeous.  Hair does make a crowning glory. Fang Ji on standby.

Anyway, Feng Xi asked who she was but she can’t remember a thing. not even her name. He named her Dong Yue from the flower of the garden tree they were standing under.

Feng Xi gave her a token; he said if she needs him she can reach him at Feng Mansion.  He said she could stay at the Seaview manor until she gets her bearing.

She tried to play her flute but no sound was coming from it. She asked an elder about it and when he tinkled with it it threw him to the other side of the room.

He told her that the flute if not from this world, it is a monster flute.

She tried the flute again and this time she remembered the last moment before she died.  She also rea;osed that Feng Xi was instrumental in starting the bloody war.  She went back in time; eight years ago.

Feng Xi welcomeddddddddd General Lu Yuantong into the capital.

She went to look for Feng Xi; she found him in a restaurant where she stopped by to have some noodle soup.  Hofun noodles, yummy.

She had just started her soup when bodies came tumbling down from the first floor. Then in walk Feng Xi.

Feng Xi found her and asked what was she doing there.

She told him that she must kill Lu Yuantong.  She told Feng Xi that he will be dead in a year’s time and Fang Ji dies during the meeting with Lu Yuantong.

Feng Ji sneered and plunged a dagger into her heart.  She dies.  Her body was promptly thown into the lake.

Feng Xi met Lu Yuantong.  He was giving his terms to the General when Fang Ji collapsed and died from being stabbed.

Feng Xi remembered what Dong Yue said.

Episode 2

Dong Yue is not dead as found out by Feng Xi.

Feng Xi wanted to know if she was divine as she can’t die.

Dong Yue remembered what Lu’Er said to her.  Her lotus root body is connected to the divine jade flute.  She will heal from her wounds, she can’t die as long as the jade flute remains intact.

She told Feng Xi that is determined more than ever to kill Lu Yuantong to prevent him killing innocent lives in the future.

Feng Xi now half believes her and even said that he will help her but they had to do it his own way.

Comments

  1. It supposed to be plot summary. Not blow by blow storyline. Why would I even bother watching show after your fan girl description?&no one in any a-drama wear flimsy outfits. Everyone dressed like somebody grandma.hell, my regular underwear is less than their wedding night gown. Why they so restraint?

    1. My summary is actually for my own benefit. I watched so many that I tend to get bogged down with plots and twists here and there.

Going back to a drama, I needed reminding of what had happened.

As to the clothing, they are supposed to be from ancient China so decorum is a must just like the Victorian period.
