Episode 1
Aoi is 23 years old and in her third year of nursing at Seiten Hospital.
She was in an ambulance with a patient who had a cardiac arrest and died.
She was immediately transferred to another hospital and the matron at the hospital warned her that the hospital is called the Final Disposal place. If she committed another mistake, there is no other hospital for her to go to.
Aoi found the hospital chaotic and no one had time to show her around.
I love this drama. Very heartwarming.
There was only one good doctor in the hospital. At first she thought it was Dr Todokoro who seemed to have a good bedside manner and popular with the families of patients but she immediately found out that he was only nice to those who are VIP patients who pay $1000 per night.
And it was Dr Tagaki who was the good doctor; he would not give up medicine but had given up on ‘life.’
Episode 2
This is before political correctness.
Dr Tagaki always smacks Aoi in the backside as a form of greeting. She was annoyed at first but gotten used to it as she was also settling at the chaotic hospital.
The next patient was a medical rep who wanted to do business with Dr Todokoro as his life depends on a transaction.
In the meantime, Nora-san the medical rep was taken ill and was admitted to the hospital for hemorrhoid.
Dr Todokoro tried to make as much money as he can and when he saw polyps on Nora-san’s intestine, he took it off. It proved to be benign but it created problems for Nora-san as it had created a hole in his intestine.
But Dr Todokoro could not be bothered to investigate or do further surgery.
In the end, the sub-director did the operation to pay the favour to Aoi when she helped his mistress while doubled up in the street.
Dr Todokoro complained to the board about Aoi but even the CEO said that Aoi did nothing wrong.
Dr Tagaki said that Aoi might be the change that the hospital needed.
I really love this drama.
Satomi is adorable.
Episode 3
Everyone was curious why Aoi was dismissed in transferred to a so-so hospital.
Dr Tokokoro sent a junior doctor to find from the main hospital because Dr Todokoro had it in for Aoi.
Aoi had had enough of the whispers saying that she had committed murder. Dr Todokoro was enjoying the mayhem he created against Aoi.
Aoi said that she will tell them the truth.
Episode 4
This medical drama is done really well. There is a rollercoaster of emotion.
It was a sad episode.
Poor Aoi was suspended.
Episode 5
The woman who was just fitted with a pacemaker confusedly undergone a MRI.
Episode 6
Tagaki reluctantly went to meet his wife who wanted him to sign the divorce paper. But after an emergency call from the hospital, he left without seeing her.
Aoi continues to influence staff.
This time it was the timid doctor who has a very good pedigree but he was quite hopeless himself.
Aoi, however, started to build his self-confidence and he was turning into a good doctor.
Episode 7
Komise felt unwell. She has uterine myoma.
She was operated and got better.
She intended to quit work because of her health and the intrigues surrounding her but in the end her co-nurses who were gossiping about her begged her to stay.
Episode 8
This is about Tagaki and his family. Finally he agreed to divorce his wife who was moving to Hokkaido with Miho, their daughter as well as her new partner.
Episode 9
Tadokoro was promoted to sub-director and therefore he rules the hospital. He was trying to restructure the system which tries to make as much money as possible.
He was also making redundancies which included a part-time nurse Bancho. He was so nasty to Bancho.
But Bancho got a slap from Aoi when he said that she should not care too much about her patients especially the man for the last five years.
Aoi told him that perhaps he should quit.
Bancho was fired by Tadokoro but got rehired when he was instrumental in making the coma patient to become responsive.
Episode 10
Tadokoro had a plan for the hospital. He wanted it to be like a hotel hospital which will cater to the rich and influential.
A long-term patient died and everyone was very sad.
Aoi found out that the Head Nurse izumida was the nurse who inspired her. The one who made sure that her mother wanted for young Aoi before she died.
Episode 11
Seriously, Aoi is a bit of a jinx. The head nurse who was travelling with her suddenly suffered a suspected cerebral hemorrhage.
Oh Oh, Aoi was going to do it again. She will insert a tube on the throat of the collapsed head nurse using a wrench,
Tadokoro in the end left the hospital for the Head Nurse to manage. Despite Tadokoro being sneaky most of the times, they were sad to see him go.
