I think I will love this drama because the genre is my favourite. We’ll see.
Episode 1 & 2
I love this drama already. It is fast-paced and the cinematography is brilliant.
It started with a little girl having wandered into a factory or a warehouse. She would have been attacked by an alien worm if Lee Hwa Sun did not show up in time.
Anyway, in the same factory, Yoo Tae Han was being chased by ferocious zombie-like humans.
After getting away from the zombies, he was just in time to save both Hwa Sun and the girl, Do Yoon.
There was a sinkhole in the forest created by large meteorites that fell on Earth as predicted by NASA.
The sinkhole gives off an alien black smoke that turns anyone who breathes it into a dark-eyed person, which then had to face their greatest fear in life. Their fear mostly ultimately turned them into raving, super-aggressive zombies.
Hwa Sun would have turned into a zombie but her newly dead husband murdered by a female serial killer kept her going. He told her not to give in to her darkest feelings. He told her to think of him and their happy memories. So it seems, a strong person can overcome the zombism.
Episode 3
Lee Hwa Sun was just remembering how she came to become the temporary guardian of Jung Do Yoon.
Jung Do Yoon was a daughter of a nurse who asked Hwa Sun to look after her daughter as she was being carried away by a zombie.
Unfortunately young Do Yoon, did not get the memo, because as Hwa Sun was fighting a zombie, Do Yoon willingly went with another person.
Fortunately for her Hwa Sun saw her and followed her.
She ended up in a middle of a cult whose members were told that they have to board the boat to meet their saviour.
Do Yoon was given a poisoned drink for their suicide ritual. Hwa Sun was just able to stop Do Yoon from drinking the poisoned liquid and took her away.
Meanwhile, Yoo Tae Han was able to get into the hospital but they got a news that some people were still alive on the top floor. One of the people was the pregnant wife of the young policeman with Yoo Tae Han.
Now, how do they get to the top floor?
Hwa Sun and Do Yoon were running for their lives.
Episode 4
Hwa Sun cannot bear the sound of very high decibels because she was infected by the dark smoke though it was still under control.
Episode 5
Cho Hyun Ho with Park Son Il and Park Tae Han went to rescue Cho Hyun Ho’s pregnant wife.
Episode 6
The pregnant wife rescued herself.
Lee Hwa Sun suspects Han Dong Rim to be the serial killer because she was wearing the red woven bracelet.
We are really struggling with this drama. There is so much going on and yet the pacing is very slow.
Is the nurse the real serial killer?
