Quick Precis

Yue Zi Yuan was escorting Bai Yin Rou to her wedding to Yang Xiao but as luck would have it she fell in love with the prospective groom herself.

Episode 1

Yue Zi Yuan is an orphan who was the CEO of Shenwei Armed Escort which was deep in debts she inherited from her late father.

Her current debt was 50K which her debtors were asking her to pay.

She was in the town centre when all her debtors surrounded her carriage asking her to pay-up.

She then happen to see Master Yang Xiao who was the second son of the richest family in town.

She immediately gravitated towards him and told the people that they can’t touch her because she was not Yue Zi Yuan they were looking for but Master Yang Xiao.

The handsome Master Yan Xiao was not cooperating with her play-acting.  He told the crowd that he doesn’t know or nor seen her before.

So the crowd started chanting for her to pay up again.

Seeing that she had lost Yue Zi Yuan said that he had the deed to her land which is worth 50K.  She will pawn the deed to whoever pays her debts.

Out of the crowd, Madam Hong shouted that she will.

Yue Zi Huan cried and went to her ‘godmother’ in relief. She gave her deeds to her godmother and told her that she will get it back.

Yue Zi Yuan was once again optimistic as she told her assistant that she will make Shenwei Armed Escort bigger and better and she will show that upstart Yang Xiao.

Yang Xiao suddenly materialised in front of her and was asking her what she meant.

Knowing that retreat was the best way for her, she told Yang Xiao that she will ask the food stall man for some drink for him.  As soon as can she left and the food stall owner went to collect the bill from Yang Xiao amounting to 50 taels.

When Yue Zi Yuan went to open her agency the next day, she was surprised to see Yang Xiao sitting in front of her house with his minions who were feeding him snacks.  He looks like he was prepared to wait.

He was magnanimous at first, he told Yue Zi Yuan that he was prepared to forgive her if she apologises.

Yue Zi Yuan told him she won’t and closed the door on his face.

The next day, he was again in front of her house.  Those who wanted her services were being paid of to go somewhere else by Yang Xiao

On the tenth day, Yue Zi Yuan finally deigned to apologise but it was too late as Yang Xiao won’t accept mere apologies.

Their argument was interrupted by a maid who came to deliver a letter from ‘godmother’ who said that she was hiring Yue Zi Yuan to protect her daughter, Bai Yin Rou, until she weds.  Godmother said she was dying.

Immediately Yue Zi Yuan went to the Bai Manor and interrupted the concubine maltreating the grieving Bai Yin Rou as godmother had passed on.

She became Bai Yin Rou’s maid so she could stay at the manor to protect the girl.

She then found out that Bai Yin Rou was to marry Yang Xiao.

Bai Yin Rou said that she was not sure about marriage.  So Yue Zi Yuan went to Yang Xoao’s manor to speak with him.  When she climbed up the wall, he was actually sitting on the same wall ready to escape his family.

The two as what happens in idol dramas fell on top of each other and they ended up touching lips to lips.

This drama is fun to watch and the leads are beautiful to look at.  The female lead is ok, not the annoying type and the male lead is cute.

At the moment, I reckon that I will continue watching this drama.

Episode 2

Yue Zi Yuan was thinking that Bai Yin Rou was too good for Yang Xiao and thought that the scholarly first son was much better suited for her charge.

She then used reverse psychology on Yang Xiao telling him that her Miss Bai Yin Rou was so excited that she will be marrying him.

Yang Xiao immediately said that it will never going to happen.

He was actually more intrigued with Yue Zi Yuan, thinking that she has got a crush on him.

Yue Zi Yuan created a situation where Bai Yin Rou will meet the first son, Yuan Zijun but Yang Xiao appeared and ruined her plan.

Bai Yin Rou had a look at Yang Xiao and she quite like him.  Everybody likes a bad boy.

Episode 3

I am actually loving this drama and I find the leads so cute.  They have a lot of chemistry.  Very watchable.

Unfortunately, Yue Zi Yuan’s plan of preventing the marriage of Bai Yin Rou to a playboy, Yang Xiao is unraveling.

Bai Yin Rou wanted to be married to Yang Xiao because he is tall, handsome and sexy.  He seemed fun and energetic.

Yue Zi Yuan could not believe it and went to tell Yang Xiao that Bai Yin Rou wanted the marriage with him.

Yang Xiao said that it will not going to happen but if Yue Zi Yuan wanted to marry him, he will make her his concubine immediately.

Yue Zi Yuan was shocked but was being seduced by Yang Xiao’s manliness as he cornered her against a wall.

Episode 4

Yue Zi Yuan got away before anything happened.

Bai Yin Rou was desperate to get away from her stepmother so she wanted to marry Yang Xiao immediately,

Her father had already prepared a very generous dowry for her which the envious stepmother/concubine was very upset about as she thought it was taking away so much from the inheritance of her son.

So she bribed a couple of prostitutes to pretend that Yang Xiao had abused them.

The case got bigger that Yang Xiao was told by his father to sort out the mess or else he will personally manacle him in a marital bed with Miss Bai Yin Rou.

Episode 5

The story is so stupid and yet it is so watchable because the actors are putting their heart into their roles.

Anyway, for someone who purported that she hated him, Yue Zi Yuan was always to running to Yang Xiao.

Even Yang Xiao commented on it, that she cannot keep away from him.

Anyway, she asked him to help her out with Bai Lang who was being a pest.

He did by making Bai Lang his disciple but Bai Lang teased Yang Xiao and Yue Zi Yuan as being in love with one another.

Episode 6

Yang Shuo found out that Bai Yin Rou is his favourite author, Meandering Jin.

The Bai Concubine two nasty made ensured that Bai Yin Rou saw Yue Zi Yuan being familiar with Yang Xiao.  Bai Yin Rou was rather upset and asked to be left alone.

Then she saw the Yue Zi Yuan and Yang Xiao again.  Yang Xiao was confessing to Yue Zi Yuan.

Bai Yin Rou got so very angry and when she saw Yue Zi Yuan she shoved the deed back to Ziyuan and told her to go away and never come back.

She ruined a marriage that her mother wanted for her.

It was true though.  Yue Zi Yuan flirted with Yang Xiao so much.

Drunk and upset in front of the Shenwei Escort Agency, Yang Xiao turned up and told her that he will bully her for the rest of her life with him. Awww

Episode 7

Bai Yin Rou is being consoled by Yang Zhou.  He was taking her to places so she could widen her knowledge for her writing.

Meanwhile, Yang Xiao hired Shenwei Armed Escort to go with him to the new trade route.  But he immediately got worried when he picked up a note which warned that anyone going to the new trade route to Guiyue will die.

Yang Xiao said that his parents’ last wish before they died was to open a new trade route. He added that he can protect her.

Zi Yuan agreed that he can protect her but why does he need her?  She said that it does not make sense to bring her along.

Anyway the next day, Bai Yin Rou heard the trending love story of Yang Xiao and the Shenwei Armed Escort investigator.  It said that Yang Xiao will marry Bai Yin Rou if Zi Yuan goes with him to the new route.

Bai Yin Rou said that she really loves Yang Xiao so Zi Yuan should go with him.

Left with not much of a choice,  Zi Yuan finally agreed to go with Yang Xiao but her condition was for him to marry Bai Yin Rou as soon as they get back.

Episode 8

Yang Xiao, Zi Yuan and their retinue started on their travel to the new merchant route, Guiyue.  They met Yuan Zi Juan on their first stop.

Yuan Zi Juan had a crush on Zi Yuan and wanted to marry her.  Yang Xiao began to compete with the much younger man.

But first, Yang Xiao had to do his business and started networking. First is Madam Hong whose business is in the winery.

Madam Hong said that Yuan Zi Juan is her only son and the business would go to him one day.  If he can convince Zi Juan then she will support the Guiyue.

It was easy to convince Zi Juan because all he wanted was the assurance that Zi Yuan would marry him and Yang Xiao readily agreed to the condition.

Zi Yuan had something to say about it but she was assured that it was just a trick.
