Episode 1

Qiao Xi Chen was having the most hectic, most frustrating day.

Her boss literally started to give birth during a meeting.  She has not even reached the hospital when her replacement had already taken over.

The new boss, who is very young called a meeting to introduce himself and let the staff tell him who they were one by one.

During this meeting, Qiao Xi Chen received a text from a neighbour telling her that something was happening in her apartment.  Men were there going through her things.

So when the new boss told her to introduce herself, she quickly said her name followed it by asking permission to take a two-hour leave.

This of course was not leaving a good impression on the boss but it can’t be helped.

On her way home, she called her friend Jing Jing who turned up immediately.

Xi Chen found her landlord packing her things up because he had not received any rent from her.  This was news to XiChen because she had just paid her 6-monthly rent to the housing agent in advance, showing the text evidence to the landlord.

The landlord told her that she might have paid her rent but he did not receive it.

It was getting chaotic which Xi Chen trying to prevent the men going to her bedroom.

JingJing came to the rescue brandishing a cleaver.

They all ended up in the police station where the police managed to get Xi Chen a-three-day leeway to move.

That day was Jing Jing’s birthday, the day she got fired from work, the day she dropped her mobile phone from a great height, the day she jumped from a bridge after her mobile phone into the traffic below.  The day she died.
