Episode 1
Within minutes of this episode, Liang Weiwei is killed by Jing Qing.
She could not believe it.
She had to play the game again because her happy ending with Jing Qing in the modern world ended as quickly as it began.
They were happily walking along an embankment when he just vanished into thin air.
Now she woke up but different from the original game. She is now the emperor and married to General Jing Qing who hated her guts.
Anyway, she had Jing Qing summoned.
Jing Qing arrived and started removing his clothes because the empress had only wanted him for his body and what a body!🤗
The Empress stopped him from stripping because she said he was too fast, they’ve only just met, again.
Anyway, he suggesting they should play a game of strip/drink jack and poy.
He could not believe how good she was because he was stripping and drinking until he got so drunk.
He started to drunkenly confess all his objections and grievance against her that she was a devil who wears Prada. etc.
So cute.
Anyway, he ended in the bed and told her to take him.
Episode 2
Liang Wei Wei is finding it tedious and tiresome to be the emperor. Apparently she was known for her tyranny and despotism as an emperor.
Liang Wei Wei can’t abide all the kowtowing of officials. when they bowed to her, she bowed back and they bowed a little bit lower and it went on until they were all kissing the ground.
She got annoyed when Jing Qing and Prince Nan were still bickering.
They went for an outing in the mountains to see the temple built for her. She saw that the statue was so ugly, she asked Prince Nan, who was the architect of the temple, if she really looks like the statue. He said that she looks a little better.
While he was washing an apple for her, she was left alone with Jing Qing who signaled for the assassin to attack Liang Wei.
The assassin though was so dense but still, he got the message in the end and kicked Liang Wei when she stood in front of Jing Qing to protect him.
He did pretend to save her.
But all of a sudden he got a flashback of Season One, where she died saving him. He can’t understand where that came from.
Episode 3
Liang Wei tried everything to remind Jing Qing of their past together but he just doesn’t get it, although he told his bumbling assistant that the Emperor wanted him to remember something.
Liang Wei was running out of thing to do to jog Jing Qing’s memory.
Meanwhile, Prince Nan presented her with a major hostage/prisoner.
Liang Wei was surprised to see Zhen Meiren. While Prince Nan was called out, Liang Wei enshrouded herself with a blanket with holes for her eyes and mouth. She then untie Zhen Meiren and told her to go.
Zhen Meiren let herself out but she was seen by Prince Nan.
Suddenly, she was grabbed by Jing Qing and helped her hid from Prince Nan and his men.
Episode 4
Liang Wei made Prince Nan give back the tiger token to Jing Qing who will get back the command of the military once again.
Liang Wei then told the prince to leave her and Jing Qing alone.Jing Qing asked her why give the tiger token back to him.
She said simply that she trusted him.
He then plunged his sword in her stomach killing her almost instantly.
He suddenly had a vision of what happened in Season One that she loved him and protected him over and over and gave him a bracelet as a token of her eternal love.
The game reset.
And Jing Qing knew that he was in a loop. He went to see the emperor immediately when he was summoned.
He teasingly flicked her in the forehead just to make sure she was alive.
This time she was not as enamored with him as before.
In fact, she was a little frightened of him and can’t wait to send him out from her sight.
The scene at the temple was repeated and it was Prince Nan who saved her.
Loving this cute drama.
The leads are gorgeous. Loving them.
Episode 5
Aware that Jing Qing killed her before the latest reset, Liang Wei was now snubbing Jing Qing who was trying to make her like him.
Episode 6
Liang Wei went drinking in the pub where she drunkenly found Jing Qing with his cohorts.
He followed her and was intent on killing her again but she hugged him and that stopped him for a while.
Prince Han arrived to collect Liang Wei, who gave Jing Qing a deep kiss.
Poor Jing Qing was left crying because he remembered something vague from his memory after kissing Liang Wei.
Episode 7
Liang Wei was very cold with Jing Qing. She tried to get away from him and even left the palace and ran away with Prince Nan.
But Jing Qing followed and saved her from an assassin, which Jing Qing arranged. Jing Qing got hurt protecting Liang Wei.
This made Liang Wei rethink whether she could trust Jing Qing after all.
Episode 8
Jing Qing was after the designation map and to get it he had to please the Emperor
They ended up sleeping together.
