I have just watched this film with Peter.  I have to admit I really enjoyed it.

Peter moaned all the time because he thought the script is stupid and yet he would ask me to put it on pause when he wanted to make a cup of tea. LOL

It is very fast-paced and I must say Wi Ha Joon made a very charismatic serial killer.  He was so handsome.

Anyway, Kyung Mi is a deaf-mute girl who works in a call centre responsible for customers with the same disabilities.

She was quite a good work and would not take any BS from customers who are rude because she can be rude back using the same sign language.

She noticed that she was left out when the management invited everyone for a company dinner.  Most of the girls did not want to go but she volunteered.  During the dinner, they were rather patronising towards her, she started calling them names and being truly rude to them using her sign language and she was having fun.

On her way home, she met up with her mother who was also deaf and mute.  Her mother told her that she had all the money they needed to go on a prolonged holiday.  They were so happy planning for it.

She left her mother on the street while she parked her car in the underground parking place.  Going back to her mother, a shoe was thrown near her.  She was curious enough to find out where the shoe came from and noticed the other pair of the shoe near a darkened area where she found a girl who had been stabbed.  She was just about to help the girl to get up when the serial killer wearing a mask came at them.

Kyung Mi runs for her life but not towards her mother as she wanted to protect her from the killer.  She ran to the parking area.  I have to say, South Korea is so unpopulated.  No one was about, not a single soul in the vicinity.

Anyway, she managed to escape from the killer.  She then got to her mother and press the street help button which connects to the police directly.

While they were waiting for the police, a man in suits, which was really the killer who changed clothes in his parked van, came to them to ask them if they had seen his sister.

Kyung Mi did not recognise him without the mask and with new clothes.

The killer described his missing sister as wearing a yellow blouse with denim shorts.

Kyung Mi said that she knew where the girl was and pointed to the location.  The man begged her to go and show him the exact place.  Her mother stopped her going but she told her mother that the girl was bleeding from stab wounds.

They were just about to leave with him and at this point, you might be shouting ‘No, don’t go” when the police arrived.

They all went to the place but found no sign of the girl.

They all ended up in the police station where their statements were taken.

Kyung Mi’s mother was very suspicious of the killer especially when he dropped a phone which has a girl’s face on it.

The killer knew that he had been rambled by the mother.  He warned the mother that he will kill her daughter if she squeals at him. The single police at this time was outside sending an unruly drunk away.

Suddenly another man came in.  He was Jong Tak, the brother of Yellow Blouse girl, So Jung Eun.

Jong Tak showed them the photo of his sister.  Kyung Mi recognised it immediately.

And now the fun really begins….

Love it, it is taut and would leave you screaming how stupid some scenes were like the killer kept getting up after he had been beaten heavily by Jong Tak, who was a former Marine Corp officer.

The gorgeous killer also looks immaculate after a couple of hours of being beaten almost senseless.  No sign of bruising at all, lucky him.  Then everyone has a mobile phone but they don’t use it to call the police.

The acting was so good.  Jin Ki Joo was impressive as a deaf mute girl.

It has a happy ending by the way.
