Episode 1

Lin Chi, together with the Master and her big sister Qiu Wan were thieves/swindlers.

Lin Chi managed to escape from prison but she was being chased by guards so she jumped into a passing carriage thinking that it was the one arranged for her by her Master.

She was surprised when she saw a very handsome man inside.  He looked rather aloof until he started sniffing her.  He said in wonder that he could smell her head.

She tried to get away from this pervert but when she next woke up, she was in a very beautiful, large, airy room.

A retinue of maids then came to bathe her.  They were very accommodating, very respectful because apparently, she is the new mistress of the Mo Wan Manor.

She was brought to the master of the house, Mo Qing Chen, who seemed to know of her, her name, and her affiliates.  He said that she will be the permanent mistress of the manor.

Loads of food were being served to her, including different kinds of tea.  To her, tea is a tea so she did not have much problem when she tasted one but Mo Qing Chen was going berserk.  He thought everything was bitter.

It turned out that Mo Qing Chen does not have the senses of smell, taste, and touch and for some extraordinary reason, being with Lin Chi made him aware of these senses which were lacking before, ergo he needed Lin Chi with him despite her poor and rather suspect background.

Despite the posh environment, she wanted to go back home to her Master and sister.

Mo Qing Chen surprised her with a visitor.  The Master came to see her and told her to stay with Mo Qing Chen.

When she refused, the master told her to stay for at least three days.  He’s sold her.

Still, she was unsure as she was missing her Sister.

Then the local constabulary, Du Ruo, came knocking to arrest and take her back to prison.  Suddenly Lin Chi does not want to leave the manor despite having to put up with sleeping in Mo Qing Chen’s arms at night.

So cute, Bu Guan Jin is always cute and that new actor Wang Xing Yue was not bad either.  So I enjoyed the first episode and wanted to see more.

Episode 2

Lin Chi and Mo Qing Chen created a contract between them including  Mo Qing Chen having to pay all her debts and that of her Master and sister.

All the while Lin Chi was thinking of not honouring it but run away at the first chance.

Anyway, Mo Qing Chen seemed to be a part of the royal family because Prince Jing came to visit him who expected to be turned away once again like every other time that he came to see Mo Qing Chen.

Prince Jing was just preparing to go when Mo Qing Chen actually showed up which surprised Prince Jing so much.

Mo Qing Chen saw him because he was curious about something.

He wanted to know about girls and those who bite

Prince Jing was so shocked, he immediately denied that he had many girls and he bites them.

I love these two.

Episode 3

It turned out that Mo Qing Chen is the Second Prince Ding Lan.  The Crown Prince was rather envious of him and once again reminded him of the prophesy of him turning into a monster;

Anyway, Lin Qi also found out that Mo Qing Chen was a prince. She became more reasonable and amenable because he is royal afterall.

Prince Jing came to visit again Mo Qing Chen asked him how to give a girl from leaving.

Prince Jing said that he should think instead of how to make her stay.

Mo Qing Chen commanded his assistant to go to the harem and find out why they would stay to be with the emperor.

Thte concubines unanimously said that they would love for the emperor to go count stars with them.

So one clear night Mo Qing Chen woke Lin Qi and told her to put on her shows and dragged her outside.  He then flew her on the rooftop.  He said she should start counting stars.

Poor sleepy clueless Lin Qi wondered why would he like her to count stars.  She was at number 53 and losing the will to live when Mo Qing Chen continue counting.

Obviouly it was a fail, so Plan B next.  To praise her.  He made her play the sitar which she did terribly and she had not play it before.

Mo Qing Chen though was very fulsome with his praises. He told her that it was perfect, it was like water and mountains.

Lin Qi got up and said that she knew she was terrible because she is not deaf.

Another fail for Mo Qing Chen.

I am really loving this drama and the script is getting better.  I just wish that they arrest the master and even the sister and execute them immediately.  They are just so boring and annoying

Mo Qing Chen was going to give Lin Qi a surprise wedding but the Empress arrived to stop it all.

Lin Qi overheard the conversation about how unsuitable she was and how her family might have been some dregs of society.

Lin Qi told the Empress that she would not marry Mo Qing Chen.
