Episode 1

Ding Wen Xiao was working hard to have DI listed.  He was relying on their latest fashion show to put them into the right trajectory to stocks and shares but it is not smooth sailing.

First, he learned that their designs are being plagiarised and then sold cheaper online.  He found the culprit.  It was a vlogger called Nie Siqi who was wearing a red chequered tablecloth which was exactly the same as DI’s design.

Nie Siqi is a best friend to Yan Xin who is a talented designer and tailor who inherited the craft and the shop from her father, whose dying wish to Yan Xin was to keep the shop going; don’t allow her mother to sell the shop and to continue his traditional design.

Unfortunately, Yan Xin relies upon and trusts Nie Siqi so much.

Nie Siqi does not believe that plagiarism is bad as it is being done by everyone.  Nie Siqi fooled Yan Xin into recreating a design that was from DI.

But as luck would have it, Yan Xin was sued by DI and now her mother wanted her to sell the shop.

Meanwhile, Xu Mochen who is supposed to be Ding Wen Xiao’s best friend is a supermodel with a hidden agenda.  Xu Mochen wanted Mu Ling Shan for himself so if he can get control of DI he thought he could have Mu Ling Shan as well.

Episode 2

Apparently DI was established by Xu Mochen’s father but somehow Ding Wen Xiao’s father ended as the CEO.

Anyway, Xu Mochen was determined to get it back and Mu Ling Shan with it.

He started creating strife between Mu Ling Shan and Ding Wen Xiao.  This is by encouraging Ding Wen Xiao to hire new blood to design for DI as Mu Ling Shan’s own design seemed to have gone stale.

Xu Mochen recommended hiring Yan Xin of Faded Light Store.

Wen Xiao was not convinced at first but the sale of the clothes modified by Yan Xin for Xu Mochen were trending and selling really well.

Wen Xiao told Yan Xin that he would retract suing her if she signs a contract to work for DI.

Yan Xin was elated at first because she really wanted to work for DI but she noticed that she will have a very basic salary for the first three months.

Wen Xiao told her that she was lucky to get any salary at all because if he continued his lawsuit against her, she would not have enough money to years.

In the end, she signed the contract and insisted for flexible hours.

Episode 3

Yan Xin started at DI under flexible hours.  The first 1 and a half hours she was made to wait by Mu Ling Shan who is the chief designer.

She then tasked Yan Xin to create five drafts within 3 and a half hours.

Yan Xin hackles were raised so she accepted the challenge.

She then gave her drafts to Mu Ling Shan who complained to Wen Xiao that it was too old fashion.

Wen Xiao took the designs with him.  He gave Yan Xin a lift home which was noticed by Mu Ling Shan who got very jealous.

Mu Ling Shen felt very proprietorial towards Wen Xiao because she helped him a lot when he first took over DI.  She assumed that they would grow closer and end up together.

Nie Siqi and Ren Xu help Yan Xin in her Faded Light shop to prevent it from closing down.

Episode 4

There is another case of plagiarism at DI and Wen Xiao suspected Yan Xin again but she told him that it was impossible as he confiscated her bag and mobile phone before work.

Still he did not believe her and dragged her to her shop and search it but could not find any evidence.

He asked LingShan who said that she gave her new upgraded design to Xu Mochen to pass to CanLang.

CCTV did show that Cai Ning sent the design to the manufacturer immediately but he noticed tat Mochen took 15 minutes to give the design to Cai Ning.

Wen Xiao hired an investigator to follow Mochen who was having dinner with Lingshan.

Mochen asked her if only if one day that he becomes the President of DI would he go to him because he knew that Lingsan has a family business marriage contract with Wen Xiao.

Poor Yan Xin is being overworked at Di and still has to do her job at her shop.  She was ironing a garment when she just collapsed.

Episode 5

Wen Xiao had been monitoring Yan Xin.  He saw her collapsed on the floor so he drove like a madman leaving his flabbergasted friend wondering what was happening.

Wen Xiao took Yan Xin to the hospital.  The doctor asked if he was the boyfriend.  He then told him off for not looking after his girlfriend who was overworked and had a bad liver function.  If she gets more stressed it could lead to liver cancer.

Yan Xin as Mochen to come to the hospital and look after Yan Xin while he sorts something.

Wen Xiao went back to Faded Years and tidy it up and he also sorted out clothes that needed altering.

Wen Xiao went back to see his trusted classmate who asked him what was Yan Xin to him.  He had never seen Yan Xin so perturbed about a girl before.

Yan Xin just brushed it aside but what he did not know was that Lingsan had followed him to the restaurant and overheard everything.

She then went to Faded Light where Yan Xin had just returned to.

Yan Xin was wandering around her shop because everything was neat and the garments to be mended had been piled all sewed ready for the customer.

Yan Xin was surprised by the appearance of Lingsan who slapped her soundly.

Lingsan told her that she had a marriage contract with Wen Xiao so Yan Xin should stopped seducing him at once.

Meanwhile, Mochen had been recording Wen Xiao.

Episode 6

Yan Xin stupid mother invested all their saving and their house and got loan on their shop.  The person she trusted with the money ran off with the lot leaving her mother 5 Million yuan on the red.

She then called her daughter about her woes as the bank is foreclosing on their home and shop.

Yan Xin was worried and walked out from work.

Wan Xiao threatened to sue her and would lose her beloved shop but she just told him to try as had lost the shop anyway.

She told him not to go near her anymore because it had been one bad luck after another since she met him.

Wan Xiao paid Yan Xin’s family at the bank and kept it secret.

Yan Xin thought it was Mochen who was their benefactor

Anyway, she finally went back to work and learned that she was having a contest with Lingsan about design.  The one who loses will leave DI for good.

Yan Xin said she might as well surrender as she will never win against Lingsan but Wan Xiao told her to use the spirit of the Faded Light Years.

Episode 7

For the competition, Yan Xin opted to work at Faded Light Years.

Yan Xin asked Mochen if he could recommend a male model for the competition.

Mochen who was with Wan Xiao said that he had the perfect guy for her.  He was a newbie but has a great potential.  He then named Wan Xiao.

Yan Xin immediately turned down the offer because she said Wan Xiao he so cold he could freeze the audience.

Yan Xin’s mother is just the most annoying woman.  She is really a waste of space.  Shameless. She doesn’t have any right to scold her daughter after she lost all their money, house and shop.

The stupid mother embarrassed Wan Xiao.

Wan Xiao was more upset than he thought and realised that maybe Lingshan was the only one who truly likes him.

He drove to Ling Shan’s place but found that she was with Mochen who was hugging her and she was not trying to get away.  He left without letting them know that he was there.

Episode 8

Wan Xiao started thinking that Lingshan like Mochen rather than him.  So he was giving them the space.

Meanwhile, Yan Xin was running out of time to get a model so she diffidently asked if Wan Xiao be her model.

He agreed.

She was taking his measurement when Lingshan arrived at his house.   She knew that Wan Xiao like Yan Xin.

Episode 9

Yan Xin lost the competition and she had to leave DI.

The person happiest was Mochen who’s plotting is coming to fruition.

And the most annoying was the mother who was always hysterically useless.

Episode 10

Yan Xin was on the verge of developing liver cancer and yet she went drinking.  Didn’t the doctors tell her that alcohol is the number one enemy of the diseased liver?

Anyway, Yan Xin went back to DI to tidy her work and leave officially.

Episode 11

Despite leaving DI, Yan Xin had not disappeared into the background

Wen Xiao continues to make use of her talent and design.

Episode 12 -18

It going all wrong at DI.

Lingshan walked out and resigned taking the entire design team with herr.

Mochen left as well and used his influence to tell all modeling agencies not to associate with DI.

Meanwhile, horny Nie SiQi was asked by Wan Xiao to sell DI stock online.

It was going well but then Mochen found out about it and used NIe Siqi horny crush on him to ask her out.  He then took her away for days which of course halted the sale.

Episode 19

Nie Siqi is back but when she was told that Mochen had just used her, she refused to believe.  To prove them them wrong she called Mochen but he would not answer his call because he had got what he wanted from her and that was to use the failure of the online sale which made Wwn Xiao to leave DI.

He had to sell everything he owns including his house.

He would not accept help from Wuxiao.

Wuxiao contacted Yin Xia who told Wen Xiao to move to Faded Light as he was jobless and homeless.

Episode 20

Lingshan went back to DI and found out that Wen Xiao is gone.

Episode 21

Yin Xia’s mother was on the war path again until she found out that it was Wen Xiao who paid the 5M whty owned in the back rather than Mochen.

Wuxiao who was visiting Wen Xiao could not help himself when Yin Xia’s mother was treating Wen Xiao like dirt.

Episode 22 – 24

Lingshan found out how sneaky Mochen had been and was so disappointed.  He was instrumental in making Wan Xiao leave DI.

Lingshan left DI taking all her designs.

A desperate Mochen went to Yan Xin and told her that DI owns her.

She said that she resigned but as Wan Xiao did not process her resignation then she still works at DI.

Yan Xin had no choice so she had to go back to DI leaving Wen Xiao to manage Faded Light.

Episode 25-30

Yan Xin went to Macao with Wen Xiao to get inspiration but actually, Yan Xin had a secret mission and that was to find Lingshan.

Yan Xin and Wen Xiao had a rather fabulous time in Macao but later Yan Xin ascertained where Lingshan was; she secretly led Wen Xiao where Lingshan was.  She was so self sacrificing and left the two together and returned to the mainland alone.

What she did not know was that Wen Xiao met an accident and had temporary amnesia.  LOL

Thank goodness, it did not last long because he finally remembered that he likes Yan Xin and told Lingshan who finally realised that she will never going to have him for herself.

Lingshan said that she will stop having feelings for him and she would also take a different career path.

Wen Xiao went back immediately to a very surprised Yan Xin.  He gave her a hug as he needed it.

He told her about his amnesia.  Despite it she was the only memory he had and kept seeing her in his mind.

They went back to their normal life in Faded Light and started to collaborate on a VR Game with Yang Dong.

But reality came crawling in.

Lingshan had come back and had asked to meet Yan Xin.

Lingshan begged Yan Xin to convince Wenxioan to return to DI, otherwise, DI will perish.

Yan Xin started behaving as if she was having PMT with Wen Xiao and having temper tantrums.  Even her brother Yan Dong was so annoyed with her when she kept changing her mind and just behaving abnormally.

Episode 31 – 38

Mochen’s father woke up from his coma and told his son that although he does not blame him for all the mistake he did to the point that DI might be lost for good, he said that his son misunderstood him.

Wen Xiao’s father is a full fledged partner and without his hard work, foresight and investment, DI would have been long gone.

Anyway, he convinced Wen Xiao to return to DI and fulfill his father’s last wish.

Yan Xin was getting more ill.  She went to the hospital for consultation and found that she has 2 stage liver cancer.

Yan Xin would not consider going to full treatment instead she spoke to her father’s photo at Faded Light where Wen Xiao unexpectedly heard her one-sided conversation with her father as he did install a CCTV.

Yan Xi tearfully told her father that she was going to be joining him soon, perhaps three months top.

Episode 39 – 40

For a minute I was going to throw a tantrum because it was not looking good for the main lead.  It looked like Yan Xin was going to succumb and die from her illness.

Yan Xin did have her liver transplant with her mother donating.

The three couple had their happy ending.

Wu Xiao invested in Yang Dong VR Games.

While Wan Xiao is now an expert tailor.  He made his own wedding suit.
