Quick precis
Creatures from hell appear to collect the spirits of the sinner.
Episode 1
A man was killed by three yeti monsters. The exact sin was never revealed.
Episode 2
The next sinner was a mother and her sin was for being a single mother with two children with different fathers. Huh?!!!
Episode 3
Jeong Jin Soo said that he knew when he was going to die. It was twenty years ago, he was still in high school when he saw a hologram face which told him that he was going to die on such a day in twenty years.
This horrifying event had dogged his every waking moment for the last twenty years.
He tried to escape by going hiking in Tibet but what he saw only made him realised his imminent mortality.
On the snow-covered mountain of Tibet, he saw the Yeti monsters obliterated someone until only a burnt torso skeleton was left. This was the first time he saw them in action.
Facing just phenomena of knowing your exact time and date of your demise was trull
I have to say this episode is just too violent especially when the vigilantes from the New Truth started hunting Hye Jin. The way they beat up her mother was too disturbing.
Jeong Jin Soo, the leader of The New Truth was ‘collected’ by the three demon yetis.
Episode 4
Some sinners who were given a warning that they will be ‘collected’ soon chose to commit suicide.
But even dead, they don’t escape from the demon yetis.
The latest person to get a warning of imminent death was a newly born baby. How can a newly born be a sinner already?
Young-Jae works for television and was rather concerned by the new ads released by New Truth. When he helped to investigate his colleague, he was not getting any encouragement.
He then found out that the colleague had received a warning and before Young-Jae’s very own eyes, get saw the yetis killing his friend leaving only a burnt skeleton which was collected by.a group lead by the revived Hye-Jin. They advised Young-Jae to forget what he witnessed otherwise he will get into trouble.
Young-Jae finally went to see his wife who had just given birth in the hospital.
His wife was overwrought and showed a video. It was their baby who got the warning.
Episode 5
Hye-Jin’s group is called the Sodo Laundry who tries to help those who get a warning before new truth gets to them.
Young Jae went to contact Sodo Laundry to help with the baby.
Episode 6
What the hell is the ending?
The baby did not die but his parents did.
It failed to explain who those yeti monsters were? Are they really god’s monster to carry out judgment?
The drama is worth a binge-watch if you can take extreme violence. However, you will come out from the drama thinking, “What did I just watch?” because It does not make sense.
And the ending is a hook for a second series.
The posh New Truth building had become derelict with blood splatters on the wall. The half skeleton still in its display casing suddenly came to life. It looks like she was the naked mother of the children who Hye-Jin sent to Canada.
Will there be a sequel? Will people be interested enough as this drama did not really make a lot of sense.
