Episode 1
Zhixia and Yeke are best friends but had not seen each other for the last five years.
When they met Yeke was so glad to see Zhixia.
Zhixia was also pleased to see her but she immediately told Yeke that she has a boyfriend who she was meeting that evening when Yeke asked if she wanted to go to dinner.
Zhixia is a junior hairdresser. She was on her way home when she was accosted by the loan shark her mother owed 60,000 yuan with.
They would have continued harassing her if Yeke did not turn up and promised to pay the money within three days.
Poor Yeke did everything including becoming a stunt motorcyclist. The stunt involved a complicated and rather dangerous move. Yeke fell and hurt her leg.
It only pays 30,000 so she had to borrow the remaining 30,000 from her parents.
Episode 2
Zhong Yuan asked Zhixia to marry him.
Zhixia said yes and wanted to introduce Yeke Zhong Yuan.
They all met up for dinner.
It looks like Zhong Yuan is the possessive kind and secretly warned Yeke that he was marrying Zhixia and there was no place for Yeke in Zhixia’s life.
If this is not bad enough, Yeke was also fired from the motorcade training centre when her coach learned that she had hurt her leg pretty badly.
It was the wedding of Zhixia to Zhong Yuan. Yeke was not going to go but she remembered her and Zhixia’s promise when they were in high school that they will attend each other’s wedding no matter what.
After the wedding Yeke ended up in her regular bar with the friendly bartender, Xiao Ran.
Episode 3
Zhixia found out about Yeke’s situation and that it was all due really to Yeke wanting to help her.
She went to Master Gao to plead for Yeke but Master Gao was resolute with his decision of firing Yeke.
Zhong Yuan recommended Zhixia to his company to be the stylist for Emma, a champion motor racer.
But when Emma invited Zhixia to eat out, Zhong Yuan was very put out and chucked the lobster dinner he cooked for Zhixia.
It looks like Emma, Master Gao (Liang), and A Feng (Yeke’s father) were teammates at one point.
Episode 4
It was Ye Ke’s birthday and as a birthday treat, Zhixia brought Emma to the restaurant.
Yeke was astounded to meet her real life idol.
The restaurant manager said that the food would be free. He then asked Emma if he could have a selfie with him.
Emma graciously agreed but then this all went wrong for Zhixia.
Emma’s photo trended and it was not good for Zhong Yuan because their client was upset because the restaurant Emma had a photo taken was their rival eatery.
Zhong Yuan went home scolded Zhixia.
Zhixia mentioned that it was Ye Ke’s birthday and as a treat she brought Emma to meet Yeke.
The mentioned of Yeke only made Zhong Yuan more furious. He was so irate he slapped Zhixia who landed on the floor next to the broken lamp she lovingly bought for their new house.
Zhong Yuan was so shocked with what he had down but poor Zhixia was scared. It was like a repeat of the abuse she received from her father.
Meanwhile, Yeke mentioned to Emma who her real father was.
Emma was surpris
