Episode 1 – 2

You Xi is a popular actor who was going head to head with another actor for a historical drama role.

Zhu Da Zhuang, You Xi’s manager, looked for a tutor for You Xi to understand the character of the role and the timeline.

You Xi came highly recommended but when she saw You Xi she refused to become his tutor because she remembered him being arrogant and selfish during a visit to a bookshop.

He saw her trying to reach a book.  He came to her aide she thought but he did not.  He said that he wanted the same book as he got it first then it was his.

Anyway, despite their bad first meeting You Xi liked her and bought all her tutorial slots for himself.  And when she still refused, he told her that she won’t be able to get another job if he leaves negative feedback online for her.

Yao Yao did remember her boss telling her that negative feedback is a no-no.

Anyway, You Xi did not only become his tutor but he told her that she will be his assistant as well.

She was with him during filming.  He was supposed to have a body double but he did not turn up.

You Xi offered to do the stunt himself because he used to do it when he was still a newbie so he was used to being on the wire.

Unlikely the wire broke and You Xi ended up in the hospital with a broken wrist and bruises on his face.

Yao Yao mentioned to Zhu Da Zhuang that the broken rope might not be an accident.  She saw a rather suspicious man in the film set and even told the stunt director about the man.

Zhu Da Zhuang said that he will into it.

Yao Yao looked after him 24/7 including when You Xi decided to do a walkabout after being in the hospital for a few days.

While they were on the street, Yao Yao got shocked.

Right in front of her were her boyfriend and her best friend being intimate with each other.

Though her boyfriend looked rather ashamed, her best friend was arrogant and confrontational.  She freely admitted that she had been dating the boyfriend for ages behind Yao Yao’s back.

You Xi backed up Yao Yao and said that she broke up with the boyfriend first he was not really good enough for her.

This rather shocked her now ex-boyfriend.

Yao Yao was at her house when You Xi called her.

You Xi had a vivid imagination and was thinking that Yao Yao was suicidal and was on the point of killing herself.  He got more worried when he heard her shout “Fire!”

You Xi removed his cast and then drove to Yao Yao’s apartment and told her that she was staying with him as her apartment was being repaired.

You Xi began to rely on Yao Yao.

Though she is a very smart girl, she cannot drive.

He hired her driving instructor, not one or two but three who all ended up in the hospital because Yao Yao run them over.

You Xi thought that he will teach her himself.  So he started telling her to learn to back up.  He went bind the car and told her what to do.  He ended up in the hospital with a cast of his foot.

Episode 3

You Xi was on the film set when Song Xie Ge dropped by and started creating mayhem.

Song Xie Ge purposely incited You Xi into thumping him; this was caught on camera by a guy secretly brought by Song Xie Ge with him.

What the cameraman did not film was how Song Xie Ge retaliated.

Song Xie Ge threw a plastic chair on You Xi which injured his face.

The next day it was trending that You Xi was uncouth and pugnacious after the video of him looking aggressive against Song Xie Ge.

One by one, You Xi’s sponsorships started to cancel up on him.

But Zhu Da Zhuang got a perfume ad for him with a location shoot near a river park, so there were a lot of mosquitoes.

The ad was going well but Yao Yao had an allergic reaction to the perfume which You Xi used to calm her mosquito bites.

You Xi was worried for her, he took her to the hospital.  The doctor said that she had perfume allergy.

She was surprised because she was ok with most perfume.

It turned out that Song Xie Ge was behind the perfume that had not been tested yet.  He was trying to set up You Xi.

You Xi was falling for Yao Yao but he was still in denial but his actions say otherwise.  He got her an antique replacement for the fan he accidentally ruined.

Pan Dou fell in love at first sight with Qi Chao.

Episode 4

You Xi could not help himself.  He kissed the drunk Yao Yao.

He felt guilty about it when he found out that it was Yao Yao’s first kiss despite having had a boyfriend before.  He wanted to confess what he has done but Pan Dou seemed to have moved into his house as she was popping out every time from everywhere when he tried to tell Yao Yao what he had done.

I have a feeling that You Xi’s manager was not trustworthy.

Episode 5

Anyway, You Xi was asked to be responsible for the toxic perfume which upset him a little bit.

Meanwhile, why is Pan Dou given so much airtime?  She was cute in small measures but becoming annoying now as she seems to lead many scenes.

You Xi had to give a press conference but he was unwell so Yao Yao was tasked to go and speak on his behalf as she was the first victim of the toxic perfume.

Yao Yao was catatonic with nerves but she went.

It was then that You Xi saw that Yao Yao’s had been taking medication to calm herself down.

He became so worried and rightly so because once in the crowded room Yao Yao lost her nerves and run away.

Zhu Da Zhuang had to take over but then You Xi turned up and cleared his name and the matter was being investigated with the main perpetrator had been arrested trying to leave the country.

You Xi and Yao Yao had a heart-to-heart.

She confessed to You Xi that she has a phobia of crowded rooms, this was the reason why she can’t do her dream job of being a teacher.

You Xi assured Yao Yao that he will help her get over her problem.

But then You Xi’s management fired Yao Yao without his knowledge.
