Episode 1
Shen Mingbao attended a blind date and met Yang Zheng.
As they exchanged resumes, they found that they have many things in common.
This encouraged Yang Zheng to propose that they should meet again after taking a selfie of them together.
Xue Kei Xin was shocked to learn that She Mingbao had gone on a blind date. They were both in their 30 and had a tacit understanding that they won’t get married and just be fulfilled as successful career women with occasional flings.
Xue Kei Xin’s current ‘occasional fling’ is Chen Tong Gang. He is her trainer in the gym. He is young and fit and seemed interested in her as well.
Meanwhile, Mingbao went on a second date with Yang Zheng.
Yang Zheng is an IT guy, who is nerdy and rather rigid.
During the date he wanted Mingbao to complete a marriage compatibility questionnaire with 500 questions. He said that he designed it himself. He also added that he had already precompleted it with information from her resume so she only had to answer just 300+.
He said that from 1-10 she is a six or seven. Anyway, he said that body examination was also necessary for the test.
You would think, health is wealth but Mingbao found out that Yang Zheng meant something else. He brought her to his apartment and wanted to have sex with her to test their compatibility.
She was aghast and left immediately.
But he called her and apologised but he was insisting to get married because she is 30 (biological clock and all) and he is 35.
She told him that perhaps they should date and get to know each other. And when he had fallen in love with her then they should get married, only then!
They started dating and having a good time. During a dinner, Yang Zheng presented her with a plain ring because he said diamond is overrated.
Mingbao said that he had never told her that he loves her but he said surely it was obvious and still refuse to say it.
So she left their date.
He followed her quickly with a bouquet of roses and a text telling her that the SR he sent her will tell her he loves her in several languages including in Klingon.
That was all he had to say as she pulled him into her apartment.
