Episode 1
I am not sure if I am going to continue on watching this drama. It is not my cup of tea. I can feel that there will be a lot of angst, misunderstanding, excruciating unrequited love.
Anyway, Li Xiao is a physical education teacher who is also a coach of a basketball team which is captained by Xu Jia Cheng.
Li Xiao longed to be in a settled relationship as she was beginning to feel the pressure of being 29 years old nearing 30.
Xu Jia Cheng was very kind to her and treated her like a friend and a confidant but somehow Li Xiao thought that he might reciprocate her crush if she confesses to him.
She was determined to carry out her confession when he invited her to attend a red gala night for the 10th year anniversary of the magazine he runs with his best friend, Ye Han.
Jia Cheng told her that she could bring a friend to the party. It so happened her best friend and flatmate, the carefree Tong Yi Wen became free that night of the party but she would take an hour to get ready so Li Xiao decided to go first and meet Yi Wen at the gala.
Li Xiao looked lovely in her red woolen long dress. She was just about to find Jia Cheng when she spotted him snogging Yi Wen. Li Xiao was so shocked and bereft she run out but she bumped into Ye Han.
As Yehan walked away, he noticed that his suit button was caught on a red string which was unraveling from Li Xiao’s dress.
This reminded me of a Kdrama called A Gentleman’s Dignity.
