Episode 1

Zhao Longjie is an orphan.  His mother died early and then his father who was a fisherman died at sea when he was at primary school.

Longjie lives with his grandad, who was very kindly and loved him.

Longjie is now in middle school but is practically invisible.  It is only when he really gets in the way of his classmates.  And then when they noticed him they bully or take advantage of him.

They the saddest news, his grandad passed away while he was at school.

He went to spread his grandad’s ashes at sea but the ashes kept being blown back into his face. Which made him fall into the sea but strangely he was back on the cliff top and saw a man running away.

Then the man came to him.  He was naked.  The guy pullled down Longjie’s shorts leaving Longjie with just his boxers.

Longjie went running home and bumped into Zhou Bi Yu.

Episode 2 – 3

Biyu elected herself as Longjie’s guardian.  And would check up on him and bring him food.

One day, she came to visit and found a strange man in the house.

A frightened Longjie told Biyu that the man was his cousin who came to visit from Iceland.

As the man was so unfriendly Biyu left them alone.

When she was gone Longjie could not take it anymore so he run away but only to get run over.

The hit and run driver was a classmate.

He was bleeding to death on the road when the merman found him.

The merman gave shared his energy with him.

When Longjie woke up, only the blood was the evidence that he had an accident.  He wasn’t bruised or anything so when Biyu came to see him she did not believe that he had an accident because he looked well.  And then she laughed off his confession that his cousin was not human but a merman.

His cousin is 183-year-old merman who had lost his flipper so he can’t get back to see.  But for some reason, the chlorinated water brings back his legs momentarily.

They searched for answers on the leg thing online.

Someone wrote that he is now 74 years only but back when he was only 20 he saved a merman. To make the merman finds his tail, they had to kiss.

Longjie ran away from the merman who is now called Renyu, fearful of being kissed.

But in the end, Renyu said he was not interested after all.

It was Jiang Jiang who run over Longjie.

Jiang Jiang was surprised to see Longjie unharmed at school.

Episode 4

Jiang Jiang was the class president but it was time to elect a new one.  He was popular amongst his classmates because he is rich, the best looking and smart.

But for some reason, he vowed out of the election and nominated Longjie instead.

As Longjie was nominated by Jiang Jiang, Longjie won.

But being the class president meant nothing as he was still the class slave and had to clean up and do trash duty.

He was cleaning the pool when Renyu turned up and said that he will not trust him again as he pushed  Longjie into the pool.

Anyway, t turned out that they can read each other’s minds.

Renyu became Longjie’s classmate for the summer school.

Renyu was curious of Longjie’s grandad.

Episode 5

It turned out that Longjie’s grandad once saved Renyu.

Renyu asked what makes Longjie happy?  Apparently, because Grandpa saved Renyu, Renyu had to fulfill grandad’s wish which was to see Longjie happy.

Renyu reminded Longjie that he only has 49 days to tell Renyu how he can be happy otherwise when Renyu goes back to the sea, he will turn into a bubble.

Episode 6

Poor Cong Jia is being bullied at school and still protecting Longjie.  He paid the money to Cannon who was bullying him and Longjie.  Cong Jia begged Cannon not to bully Longjie.

Cong Jia was so annoyed with Cannon, he cut Cannon’s bike tires.  He was found by Renyu who said that he won’t say anything.

Renyu then made Cong Jia and Longjie reconcile.  Apparently, Longjie stayed with Congjia the night his grandpa died and Cong Jia felt guilty about it despite Longjie not really blaming him.

Episode 7

Jiang Jiang tried to find out if Longjie was ok.  Jiang JIang invited Renyu to pump him with answers.

Renyu said that Longjie met an accident and almost died.  And Renyu said that he saw Jiang Jiang behind the wheels.

Cannon had become friends with Longjie and Cong Jian after they visited him in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Renyu was trying to get Longjie and Biyu together so he told them Biyu to mate with Longjie which of course annoyed Biyu.

Episode 8

Jiang Jiang posted a video of Cong Jian slashing Cannon’s bike tire.

Longjie was so worried for Cong Jian but found him having a good time with Cannon.  Cannon said they are firm friends.

Meanwhile, Renyu knew of the video also and was worried for Longjie, he went looking for him despite the rain.

He then turned into a mermaid.

Episode 9

BiYu and Cong Jian were at Longjie’s house when he returned with the merman Renyu.  They were so impressed with the authentic cosplay at frat but they learned that he was in actual fact a merman.

After an initial shock they ended up in the big bath and had a party.

Poor Renyu was a bit jealous that he was not number one with Longjie anymore.

Episode 10

Longjie had to compete in a swimming competition at school.  So he asked Renyu to teach him how to swim.

Renyu’s technique half kills him though so Renyu asked back-up from Cong Jian and Buyi.

Biyu was stunning in a black bikini and she did give Longjie confidence in the water.

Longjie asked Renyu if they could swim together so he could gauge how good his level was.

Renyu turns into a merman in the water and Jiang Jiang saw this.

He ran for his mobile phone to take a photo but it was too late. The two had gone.

But the school principal was about.  Does he know that Renyu was a merman all along?

Anyway, Jiang Jiang asked his father what happened to the merman he caught years ago?

His father said it probably died.

Jiang Jiang was much too curious, he started stalking Renyu.

Episode 11

Jiang Jiang invited Renyu to another food fest at his house.  Renyu demolished the food in no time but still wanted more so Jiang Jiang gave him fish food.

Renyu was eating the fish food with gusto when Jiang Jiang’s father arrived home.

He was very interested to see Renyu.

Episode 12

It was the day of the swimming contest.
