Episode 1
The leads have so much chemistry which makes this drama interesting despite the plot being a one long trope.
Eun Soo is a lyricist while Sun Woo is a photographer.
They had been friends since they were 9 years old, almost 20 years ago. They are the bestest of friends and they commiserate with each other every time each one meets a roadblock in life.
Han Sun Woo was sent to America to study but as soon as he can, he came back home to be with Eun Soo, who he was secretly carrying a torch for.
He had kept secret of his one-sided love fearing that he might lose her if he confess his feelings to her. He did try to tell her four years ago but he chickened out at the last minute.
Anyway, Eun Soo was meeting Kang Woo Il about her current work.
Kang Woo Il told her that he had a look but he found her lyrics lacking, there is no real emotion that tells unrequited love.
Eun Soo begged and begged Kang Woo Il to give her another chance but he said you can’t really fake emotion which trickles to your lyrics.
She was down in the dumps when she met up with Sun Woo for a drink.
They got talking about unrequited love. Beforehand, Sun Woo said that he had a crush when he was in America and was called Jennifer.
Eun Soo said that he should confess to Jennifer and if it does not work, he could go to her.
Sun Woo was suddenly excited. He thought Eun Soo was saying if Jennifer turns him down, Eun Soo would date him instead.
But what she meant was that he could come to Eun Soo who will go drinking with him to help him drown his sorrow.
Anyway, Eun Soo suddenly told Sun Woo that she wants him to move in with her as her assistant. She wanted him to write her lyrics of unrequited love.
Sun Woo turned her down because he said that she lives in a pigsty. Eun Soo said that she had improved a bit.
Anyway, Sun Woo got a call from his flatmate telling him not to come home that night as his girlfriend had come to stay for the night.
Sun Woo went back to the studio and saw the photos he had taken of Eun Soo.
The next morning, Eunsoo was woken by a loud knocking, it was Sun Woo with his large suitcase
He was taking Eun Soo of her offer for him to stay at her place.
Eun Soo was surprised at first but then she found that Sun Woo was very domesticated. He cleaned up the whole house including her bedroom and bathroom. And he is near cordon bleu in cooking.
That night, they ended up drinking until Eun Soo fell asleep on the floor and would not move to her bedroom.
So then both ended up sleeping on the floor and sometime during the night, Eun Soo snuggled into Sun Woo.
Sun Woo was in between being elated and nervous. He actually hardly slept and spent most of the night staring at the sleeping Eun Soo.
Then she opened her eyes…
