Episode 1
Fang Yi Nuo is a teacher who was heavily pregnant. She is married to Xiao Lu who seemed to have found rather late that he is not a husband material nor a father.
Fang Yi Nuo started going to labour while teaching her class. She called her husband to inform him.
Her husband was doing a lion job but hurried to leave but instead of going to the hospital to meet Yi Nou, he went home, had a few beer and fell asleep.
He was woken by a call from his mother reminding him to ask the doctors for the placenta.
He finally left for the hospital but they noticed that he kept disappearing at the most inopportune moment.
Yi Nuo, after a tiring delivery, gave birth to a daughter.
Xiao Lu got the placenta from the nurse. He prioritised giving this to his mother rather than checking on his wife and new daughter.
Yi Nuo’s mother and father noticed how Xiao Lu was reacting to his family. Her mother said that she now regrets allowing Yi Nuo to marry Xiao Lu.
They were shocked when they finally brought Yi Nou and the baby home, the house was a mess.
Episode 2
Yi Nou hired a maternity nurse to help her look after the baby. Yinou worries about her baby having jaundice but Ms. Jin just said that it was normal for a newborn but she continues to suspect that Ms Jin is not capable at all.
The baby was turning more yellow. Despite Ms Jin insisting that it would take 40 days for jaundice to disappear from babies, Yi Nou told her husband to bring the baby to the hospital.
Xiao Lu with Ms Jin took the baby to the hospital. The baby was immediately admitted to intensive care.
Ms Jin overheard some nurses talking about breastmilk jaundice so she told Xiao Lu that it was Yinou’s insistence that she breastfeeds the baby that caused jaundice.
