Episode 1
He Jia Jia works as a corporate slave as she calls it. Being the youngest of the group, her team chose her to do the preliminary reconnaissance of a rather remote mountainous but absolutely stunning village as a potential tourist spot.
As she can’t really say no, she went on a plane, then a train ride, a bus ride, and then she was collected by a very personable guy who runs the homestay B&B.
The location of the B&B was absolutely breathtaking. It was so stunning she was speechless for a while. She found out that her host, Ling Qing Hui was a former architect and designed the lodge himself.
He told her that there are only a few staying in the lodge.
She met a very annoying couple who were lovey-dovey one minute and then hated each other’s gut the next minute.
Then there was Fang Wen Yu, who Ling Qing Hui said was an author. Fang Wen Yu could be kindly called as eccentric but actually he was weird. He went inside the restaurant under his umbrella. He then stopped at Jia Jia’s table and told her that her egg and tomato would make her old and ugly because of the sugar in it. Her then walked away.
The lovey-dovey couple had a massive fight and trashed their room. Poor Ling Qing Hui cut his hand badly while tidying the room.
Seeing that he needed medical attention, Jia Jia offered to mind the place while he goes to the hospital.
Ling Qing Hui told her that she had to clean Fang Wen Yu’s room.
She said no problem but when she got there she found him lying in his bathtub all bloodied and looking dead. She screamed her head off and was about to call emergency when the corpse before her started smiling.
He then recorded her reaction and immediate action to his story.
When Ling Qing Hui returned he announced that there will be a sumptuous cookout because the lovey-dovey couple had decided to get engaged.
During the dinner party, Jiajia left the table because the engagement upset her. It reminded her of what had happened six months ago.
She though her long time boyfriend was on the verge of proposing, instead he dumped her by text.
