Episode 1
Wow! Really interesting and riveting drama. This first episode is rather hectic. It has many arcs, it has many revelations already, and many interesting characters.
Ha Woo Shin and Song Soo Hyun are identical twins and they couldn’t be more different from each other.
They are both affluent. Woo Shin is a popular author while Song Soo Hyun is a prosecutor.
Anyway, Woo Shin went to find his brother at the prosecution’s office. He told Soo Hyun that will be away for a month. He told his brother that he will not be bringing his phone with him but he will try to call Soo Hyun.
Soo Hyun was told by Woo Shin that he was just going on a sabbatical holiday so Soo Hyun did not ask much about this month-long holiday. He was curious though when Woo Shin refused to tell him where he was going.
Anyway, Woo Shin traveled to a rather remote area. Though in the middle of nowhere, the place is a modern and huge estate.
It is owned by a powerful chaebol who hired Woo Shin to ghostwrite his biography.
Woo Shin found out that his month-long stay in this place was anything but restful. There were too many mysterious instances and people around him who are suspect, including the housekeeper who rule the villa with an iron rod.
Woo Shin was told not to go to the Chairman’s part of the house in any circumstances.
One morning, Woo Shin happened to meet a beautiful young lady in the conservatory.
The girl was Eun Hye Soo. The Chairman’s daughter-in-law. She warned Woo Shin to be very afraid for his life. It was better if he could leave the place immediately.
Hye Soo told him that the Chairman was capable of doing anything heinous including arranging the death of his own son.
In the city, a reporter had told Soo Hyun that there had been political maneuvering to bring back death penalty.
The reporter, Kim Seo Hee, said that if the death penalty is reinstated the first batch to be executed would include the man who killed Soo Hyun’s father. But the reporter said that the man in prison was actually innocent.
Episode 2
Woo Shin started searching for the Adamas but he was being monitored.
Epiosde 3
Woo Shin and Lee Dong Rim were supposed to be going back home but it was found out by Chairman Kwon that Dong Rim can lip read and noticed that he saw Chairman Kwon ‘talking’ with the mute Yoon Jin regarding a politician that they were supporting for office.
So instead of killing them, the Chairman said that Woo Shin and Lee Dong Rim will remain in the villa until after the election.
Kim Seo Hee’s parents were killed but she blamed herself for bringing Soo Hyun into their house. She then confessed to Soo Hyun that it was not her father who was the witness of his father’s murder but it was her when she was a little girl.
She said that she could still remember the face of the killer. So Soo Hyun arranged for her to do a photofit.
Episode 4
The photofit looks so much like Chairman Kwon’s first son.
Soo Hyun was told by his ailing mother that the man locked up for the murder of their father was actually their biological father. Whoa.
Woo Shin was admiring a painting when Hye Soo told him that it was a posthumous painting. Huh?!!! Painted after the painter had died? Lost in translation?
Choi Tae Sung reported to his contacts at NIS using his satellite phone that Woo Shin was trying to steal the Adamas.
Mrs Oh, the head housekeeper, had Dong Rim’s father transferred into a private room in the hospital. She then arranged for the father to undergo immediate surgery which Dong Rim realised was plotted by Mrs. Oh so he does what she wanted him to do.
Woo Shin has found where the Adamas was being kept.
Episode 14
Mrs Oh killed Chairman Kwon when she can’t take it anymore that the Chairman used her son’s heart to be able to live.
Episode 15
Eun Hye Soo made it look like Chairman Kwon died of sepsis.
The twins began to suspect that the Adamas was inside the large superhero toy given to Soo Hyun by their father when he was young.
