Episode 1
Wow, I love the first episode.
Luo Song and Gao Chuan are specially trained by Master Cheng Feng Hua of the Drug Enforcement Bureau. They were like a family, well Gao Chuan would have become a member of the Cheng family because he was dating Master Cheng’s daughter, Cheng Hui.
After a drug bust where the mastermind drug gang leader Boss Feng committed suicide after his gang was rounded up.
Master Cheng was had told his two officers that they had to be transferred off the Drug Enforcement Bureau because their identities had been compromised.
Luo Song and Chuan were a bit upset about it but they did not make this deter them from witnessing and being proud of their old master’s ceremonial promotion.
Luo Song and Chuan were chatting in their car as they follow the master’s car with his wife and daughter Hui when a lorry truck plowed into Master Cheng’s car killing him, his wife and Hui instantly. Only Cheng Yun Hao, the son, who was a school was left of the Chengs.
Chuan went mad as the truck tried to get away. He followed it and broke traffic laws and put many motorists in danger.
Poor Chuan was imprisoned for five years. Initially, it was not an easy time for him as one of his cellmates was actually a person he put in prison.
He suffered quietly as he seemed to lose the will to live. He was beaten up and he ended up at the infirmary where another cellmate decided that surely Chuan had more to live, and things to do. Five years will go by in a flash.
This is all Chuan needed to hear. He sorted his other brutal cellmate and sure enough, five years passed quickly.
Cheng Yun Hao has grown up and he seemed to have been fostered by Luo Song, who had developed OCD.
Meanwhile, Chuan’s first destination after getting out of jail was to visit the Chengs’ gravesite. He then met a former cellmate who had given him intel on the truck driver and that Boss Fei had a bigger boss that was pulling the strings.
Episode 2
I am really liking this police drama.
Anyway, Luo Song was a bit put out when Chuan only showed up to see him after 6 months of being out of jail. Luo Song expected for Chuan to go live with him and Yunhao but Chuan said five years had passed and they are different people.
Chuan did say that he wanted to investigate the death of their Master.
Luo Song was surprised because the Master’s, his wife and Hui’s death was just an accident but Chuan thought otherwise.
Chuan met up with the other police officers in his former unit and he was warmly welcomed.
Chuan then went to police station during the night when not many were not around so he started to search for records of the Master’s case but Luo Song showed up.
In another story, a music student was drugged and sexually abused and was just about to report it to the police.
Episode 3
Zhang Jing reported her attack. Her attacker was Luo Xiao, who is the son of the President of Luo Company.
Luo Xiao denied that allegation.
Anyway, Chuan finally visited Yunhao at Luo Song’s house, Yunhao was happy to see him.
While they were all having dinner, Yunhao received a porn video.
Luo Song took the camera and told Yunhao that it was illegal to deal with porn. Yunhao said that he did not watch it.
Chuan was chill about it saying that it is natural to be curious.
Yunhao said that Luo Song was being a hypocrite as the latter continued to look at the video.
He then asked Yunhao who sent the porn video to him as he saw something or someone familiar.
Episode 4
Luo Xiao was let out despite the damning evidence.
Whoa, the story gets more thrilling.
Luo Song started following Chuan secretly. He followed him one day to meet a guy who said that Fei Zhou did not kill himself. Instead, he saw Master Cheng kill Fei Zhou during the raid.
Chuan got more stressed with what he found out and so did Luo Song who overheard their conversation.
Luo Song was called by his team to attend a rape and murder investigation. He was shocked to find out that the victim was also an actor in the Jiuzhou Song and Dance Troupe a rape they were currently investigating.
The forensic found a different set of DNA to the murdered girl from that of Luo Xiao;
Meanwhile, Yunhao’s girlfriend Jia Jia was behaving erratically. She is also part of the Jiuzhou Song and Dance troupe. For no reason at all she suddenly broke up with Yunhao.
Yunhao was very upset and spoke about it with Chuan.
Chuan said that there are more fish in the sea. Yunhao asked if Chuan had gotten over his sister.
Chuan told him that there were not talking about him.
Meanwhile, when Chuan drove Yunhao’s home, he saw that Luo Song’s car was already in the garage. He noticed the same leaflet still tucked into Luo Song’s car as the one he got when he had the meeting with the guy that told him about the Master killing Feizhou himself.
Episode 5
Wow, I am becoming obsessed with this drama. There is much that is happening.
Anyway, Captain Lou Song and his team deduced from the evidence that the rapist/killer must be a security guard at the university. So Lou Song and two of his team went to the uni.
The chief security guard was going to be arrested as a suspect but he bulked saying that he can’t be him. It was not he who found the button but Jia Yuefan, the other security guard who also installed the CCTV.
Lou Song asked where Jia Yuefan was. He was told that he was at the warehouse. Lou Song went and found a mobile phone and a handbag on the ground by the warehouse.
He then heard a girl begging someone to stop and found Yuefan with a woman who turned out to be Yuan Rui Tong, who came to find Jia Jia.
Yuan Rui Tong was Lou Song’s online friend as they both loved classical music. Poor Qian Xiao, a young policewoman was upset that her crush on Lou Song won’t come to fruition;
Anyway, Yuefan confessed immediately that he actually raped Zhang Jing, who he found out of her mind by the university and then killed Mo Yan. He then further confessed to raping 3 other girls.
One of whom was Jia Jia. Luo Song can’t believe it and had to ask twice.
The three girls were asked to come to the station. A paparazzi took photos of the girls and posted them online
Jia Jia was so humiliated, she committed suicide
The paparazzi was not sorry at all and threatened Luo Song that he will sue if they touch him further after Yunhao tried to beat him up.
Yunhao was so upset and went to see Chuan. He asked Chuan why all the same things keep happening to him, first his parents and sister now Jia Jia. He blames himself for not taking Jia Jia back to her dorm that night
Chuan told him not to overthink.
This must be based on a true story because there was an outcome to the case Jia Yuefan was convicted of intentional homicide, rape, and several other crimes, he will get the death penalty with no political rights so he does not have the right to appeal. Luo Xiao was convicted of rape and spreading pornography so he was jailed for 20 years and fined 150,000 yuan. Zhuo Kai, the paparazzi was convicted of infringement of other people’s privacy. He was given 10 days of detainment and a fine of 500 yuan.
The next case was a man murdered in a motel room. Their suspect was the wife but she is a doctor who said that she has a lot of alibis as she was on duty that night. They did reason why would she murder her husband when she can just divorce him
Anyway, Li Dong and Xiao Ying Li were investigating the motel
Episode 6
Poor Li Dong became the butt of the joke the next morning at the station because Xiaoxiao regaled the officers of their last night adventure when she had to rescue Li Dong who was handcuffed in bed and being whipped by the Queen of the Night, a fat madam dominatrix. 🤣🤣
The Queen of the Night was arrested but had to be let go because she had a solid alibi.
Poor Chuan, it looks like he will end up with the single mother slapper, Qin Hong Yan, daughter of Qin San Bao, who now looks after Chuan after becoming like family in prison.
