Episode 1
Luo Ben is a super lawyer and Zhan Yan is a super doctor. In just a space of one day, they’ve met three times and it was no way romantic because she seemed to hate his guts despite helping her at least a couple of times.
The first time was when there was an accident on the motorway. As Luo Ben was rather late because of the traffic due to the accident, he used the pedestrian/emergency lane.
Zhan Yan who got of the bus to help in the accident stopped Luo Ben’s car and asked him to drive her to the crash site. Luo Ben then helped her open the car of the victims as the emergency service are otherwise busy with something else.
Anyway, everything was sorted but Zhan Yan left her things at Luo Ben’s car as she had gone with the patients in the ambulance.
Luo Ben went to meet his client who wanted Luo Ben to sort out a little problem involving their main writer not willing to give credit to her interns who did the bulk of the work.
The main intern was Ding Ding who happened to be a cousin of Zhan Yan.
Ding Ding went to the rooftop of the building and started live streaming her decision to jump off the building if her rights are rights are not met
At this time the fire brigade had turned up with the blow-up cushion in case Ding Ding does decide to jump.
Entered Luo Ben who told Ding Ding that killing herself is never worth it because she and her gripes will be easily forgotten. He then showed her a video of her begging KK to make her intern without pay or credit because she just wanted to learn from her idol.
When Ding Ding said that she drew most of the cartoons, again Luo Ben showed her that her drawing was very like those of KK.
Luo Ben told her that the best thing is to start over and create her own thing. He added that she will be compensated with 10,000 Yuan.
Ding Ding realised that she really no legs to stand on so she agreed to move away from the edge of the rooftop she accidentally fell but luckily on the already blown-up cushion below.
Zhan Yan had just arrived after doing a major operation. She asked Luo Ben to send her things to the hospital.
Then that night after Luo Ben had a company drink-up party, she went to get coffee and saw a man using his phone to look up Zhan Yan’s skirt while buying coffee.
Episode 2
Luo Ben has a sister who is mute and as such Luo Ben tends to get overprotective of his grown-up sister.
Anyway his sister who is a teacher had been transferred to a special need class in Fengqing. Luo Ben who was also going to Fengqing to see a client told his sister that he will travel with her but she declined as wanted a bit of independence.
She settled immediately at the school but as bad luck would have it, there was a really strong earthquake that shook the school and the vicinity. It was chaos, it was worrying and there are a lot of casualties.
Rescuers including firefighters and medical staff were sent to Fengqing to help with the rescue.
Zhan Yan was under a mini suspension of insolence. She is a super doctor, even be the best but she lacks bedside manners which makes patients complain about her. Anyway, she was sent to Fengqing where she met her cousin, Ding Ding who happened to be on holiday at the area.
Luo Ben rushed to the school to find his sister but along the way, he heard a little voice from under rubbles asking for help. He saw a little boy. The debris was so enormous, he can’t clear it fast enought. Thank goodness the rescuers were just in time to help;.
Episode 3
Luo Ben reported that his sister was trapped inside the fallen school and that she is mute. The captain made the rescuers aware of this situation.
Luo Ben went around shouting his sister’s name. He was relieved when he heard a whistle. He knew his sister is alive.
They managed to find Yuan but she was pinned with heavy timber. She let them know that the headmaster was also nearby.
It was a long torturous rescue but they did get them.
Unfortunately the headmaster died while Yuan was successfully operated on.
Zhan Yan made Luo Ben promise to contribute something.
Zhou Ming Ming met Ding Ding. The two became a double act of dumb and dumber.
Ming mIng stopped Ding Ding from going to the inn she was staying at which has been turned into rubbles. She said that she needed to get her laptop.
Ming Ming hurt himself helping her to get out of the falling debris. The sight of his bloody leg made him almost faint.
Ding Ding asked how can he volunteer for a rescue mission when he was afraid of blood.
