Episode 1

I just started this episode and so far so good.  Very intriguing.

Ruan Zhen Zhen is a young housewife who was content to stay at home and mind the house while her husband goes to work.

Unexpectedly, her husband died in an accident.

Everything started to crumble for her.  This was not only because of her husband’s death but finding out that he left her a gargantuan amount of debt.

On the day of his funeral, she was accosted by loan sharks.  Then she got a summon from the court for failing to settle a debt incurred with her husband.

She was then given a copy of the borrowing contract that showed her signature.  Zhen Zhen said that she did not know anything about incurring debts and she had never signed a loan contract.

Her friend Su Wen, hired a lawyer for her.

Ruan Zhen Zhen did not take to lawyer Gao Jun especially when he started asking her if she really did not know about the loan and whether her husband left anything that is connected with the loan.  To make matters worst, he also asked if her husband was engaged in anything immoral, having an affair.

I love this drama.  There is something seedy and sinister about Gao Jum and the whole setup.

Is her husband even dead? Apparently, his face from the accident was unrecognisable.  Who is her husband?  We only see his back view in the first part of episode 1 and he looked like Gao Jun.

Episode 2

It turned out that Gao Jun was a classmate of Ruan Zhen Zhen’s husband in high school.  It got more complicated because apparently, Gao Jun was a bit of a pariah in high school.  He was overweight and had written a 5,000 words love letter to someone.  The letter was wickedly poster on the school bulletin board which became the talk of the school and it only isolated the old Gao Jun more.

Many years later, Gao Jun is tall, dark, and handsome but on his laptop, there is a series of his high school crush and it was none other than Zhen Zhen.

Su Wen came to Ningzhou for business and called Gao Jun was still in the city.  She wanted to have dinner with him.  Gao Jun was all for it but also wanted Su Wen to invite Zhen Zhen to celebrate her birthday.

Episode 3 – 4

Su Wen and Gao Jun surprised Zhen Zhen at her house for her birthday.  They were about to eat the cake Su Wen brought when there was a knock on the door.

Su Wen said that it is probably the takeout she ordered but when Zhen Zhen opened the door, it was a besuited delivery man from Chopard.  He presented Zhen Zhen with two boxes which she found out were ordered by her husband a month ago, in January.

When she opened one of the packages, it was another green watch but a more modest one than the one she already got from Chopard when they called her to say that her husband ordered the watch encrusted with diamonds.

Zhen Zhen was beginning to suspect that her husband did the dirty on her while he was alive and she started thinking that it might be with the woman she met on the lift when she went to Xu Youning’s office.

When Su Wen and Gao Jun had gone, Zhen Zhen looked at her first watch closely.  She got an answer. The more opulent watch had an inscription of Selina Shen on the face of the watch.  She went to find the business card the woman on the lift gave her and sure enough, her name is Selina Shen.

Meanwhile, her in-laws started thinking that Zhen Zhen knew more than she cared to admit because, in their minds, Youning was an exemplary human being.  So the family tried to contact Zhen Zhen to persuade her to return the 40M loan to clear Youning’s debts.

At the office, Director Qiu and Lu Yang had searched Youyang’s office for any incriminating evidence because it seems they know more than what they were prepared to admit about the loans that Youning made.  Lu Yang stole Youning’s journal.

Episode 5

Zhen Zhen confronted Selina Shen with her affair with Youning.

Selina said that what she had with Youning was not an affair but just an adult flirtation.

When Zhen Zhen asked what is classified as an adult flirtation, Selina said that one-night stand is normal in their line of business.

She did not know why Youning got her the watch but she did not have an ongoing relationship with him.

Zhen Zhen was absolutely heartbroken.  She cannot believe that her perfect husband was sleeping around.

She was so defeated with the thought, she told Gao Jun that she would like to take a break and go back to her hometown.

Gao Jun gave her the facts of the life of a debt-ridden person.  He told her that she will be living like a rat and that most of anything she got will be taken away from her to pay her 40M debt.  She won’t be able to provide any of her children with a good life.

He told her to stay and fight to the bitter end.

Zhen Zhen’s in laws really think that she has got the money and hiding it.

Episode 6

Zhen Zhen still left and went to her hometown.  She was just unpacking her things when she received a call from Gao Jun asking her to meet up at their old high school.

When she saw him, he said that he was nearby visiting clients so decided to check up on her.  He then led her to the school bulletin board and reminded her about the 5000 words love letter that he gave her.  He said to her that even if she did not like him, she should not have posted the letter on the bulletin board for everyone to see.

Zhen Zhen was clueless most of the time that he was talking.  She said that she never received the letter and if she had she was not callous enough to humiliate him.

Still, Gao Jun was not convinced.

She made a painstaking effort to convince him of her innocence but he just dismiss it as water under the bridge.

They were just leaving the school when someone on a motorcycle almost run Zhen Zhen over.  Luckily, Gao Jun managed to grab her.

Someone took a photo of her in his arms and sent it to Shi Sheng Yu, Zhen Zhen’s pregnant sister-in-law who thought badly of Zhen Zhen.

It turned out it was all part of a plot by Gao Jun.  He was working with a woman who he told to follow Zhen Zhen.

Brother Jiu and his partner were also tailing Zhen Zhen.  They bugged her car so they know wherever she goes.

While she was away from the house, Brother Jiu sneaked in to search.

Episode 7

Zhen Zhen had a minor car accident.  Later on, the other driver texted her that he picked a device that dropped from her car.  He said that it was a bugging device.

Zhen Zhen knew that it came from the man, Brother Jiu, that had been following her around and searched her house.

Meanwhile, she joined the family at Youning’s grave.  She was not very welcome and more so when Gao Jun turned up.

Zhen Zhen’s sister-in-law went absolutely mental and accused Zhen Zhen of having an affair right before their faces and probably before even Youning’s death.

Zhen Zhen was mortified and blurted out that she was not the one who was having an affair.

Gao Jun ran after her when she left but she knew that it was part of his plan to create mayhem to try and isolate her from Youning’s family.

Su Wen told her to return to her apartment in the city immediately.

Episode 8

Wow, this episode is really thrilling.  Love it.

Zhen Zhen decided to investigate one of the accounts that Youning transferred money into.  What she did not know was that Gao Jun was ahead of her and went to Xia Xialing’s Food Manufacturing company.

Gao Jun found out that the company was basically just a shell, with nothing or no one going in or out except for one person who acts like a security guard with his barkative dog.

Anyway, he was shocked to find Zhen Zhen lurking near the factory but it was way too late for him to tell her that he was also near the factory because he already told her that he had gone to Beijing to see a client.

So he hid in his car which was parked right in front of her car.  So for hours, he had to lie prostrate in the backseat of his car so she won’t see him.  This went on for hours and he had to use a mineral water bottle to pee when he became desperate.

She got out of her car to look into his car, which surprisingly she had not recognised, so Gao Jun had to improvise.  He called her mobile saying that he was waiting for her at her apartment as he had something for her and was quite urgent.

When she got home, immediately noticed that someone had been to her house as her door was not triple locked anymore.

She ran downstairs leaving her keys and mobile with Gao Jun asking desperately asking her what was happening.  Zhen Zhen met the security guards downstairs.

Loving this drama.   Hope it can continue with the suspense in all the episodes.

Episode 9

Zhen Zhen was convinced someone was inside her house but when the security guards search the house, there was no sign of anyone or anything that was taken.

Is Youning not dead?!!!

Gao Jun got injured protected Zhen Zhen but it looked like he got himself hurt on purpose so Zhen Zhen took him in the hospital.

Episode 10

Gao Jun and Zhen Zhen inspected the CCTV with the guards and realised that there was indeed an intruder at her apartment who hid behind an umbrella so he could not be recognised inside the lift.

Gao Jun later asked her to remove the traces of blood in his expensive trenchcoat.  She felt guilt about the damage to his trenchcoat, Zhen Zhen went absolutely mental and took all the cash she has in the world to buy Gao Jun a similar replacement trenchcoat.  Who would do that?  Spend all your money when you are jobless and you are deep to your neck in debt?

Anyway, her sister-in-law with her mother saw her coming out of the exclusive menswear shop.

Actually, pregnant sister-in-law has a more pressing problem because You Gang stole their apartment property deed to use as collateral to get a mortgage loan from an insalubrious agent.

Wow, this drama gets more exciting. Lu Yang found out that Gao Jun is not really Gao Jun because he saw the real Gao Jun with Yan Xiao Wen.

Episode 11

Stupid Zhen Zhen finally felt the pinch of being penniless when she cannot afford to have her car tires fixed.

She tried to find a job in admin but she was told that she was not really even good enough to be employed in the domestic sector.

Another assistant offered her a job for her looks to wine and done costumers, but she turned it down.

She did manage to get a job as a dishwasher.

When she went to the court to have her hand-writing verified, she found out that it would cost her 10,000Yuan which she does not have.

Gao Jun noticed that she was looking upset but she did not tell him that she was financially challenged.  But then he was beginning to suspect that she has money because from his investigation, he found out that she paid cash in a large sum of money.

When he took her home, she found her in-laws waiting for her with their luggage.  Her mother-in-law went absolutely mental when she saw that Zhen Zhen was with Gao Jun.

Gao Jun told them that he could sue them for defamation.

Anyway, Zhen Zhen invited the in-laws inside and showed them the amount of money she had which was not much.  She also said that only have 50,000 but used more of it for her legal advice as well as buying a replacement jacket for Gao Jun because his old one got ruined because of her.

Meanwhile, You Gang found out that he lost all his monies including the 3Million from his apartment from the seed investment he made.

Episode 12

She allowed her in-laws to move in with her.

Poor Zhen Zhen.  She was really having it bad on all sides.  Without her permission, she is incurring more debts that she will never be able to pay.

In order to get some cash, she went to sell her two Chopard watches.  The buyer said that they could only buy the big diamond-encrusted one because the smaller one was not genuine.  Imagine her shock.  Youning bought a 50,000 Yuan watch of his mistress and yet he only gave her a smaller and fake one.  She was absolutely gutted.

When she got home, he found  Gao Jun sitting comfortably in her living room watching tv.  She went to look for her father and mother-in-law but Gao Jun told her that they’ve gone.

He then showed her a receipt that they’ve accepted 200,000 from him to move out.

Zhen Zhen was shocked because on top of the 40M now she owes Gao Jun money.  She told him she will never be able to pay him.  He said to mortgage her house to him but she said it was impossible as it was been forclosed as he knew being her lawyer.🤣

Gao Jun said that he can’t get the money back from her in-laws so what about mortgaging her grandma’s house to him?  She eventually agreed and gave him the watch as well but he said the house was enough.

They were still talking when You Gang turned up.

You Gang got addicted to investment and when he heard that Zhen Zhen gave his uncle and aunties 200,000 cash, he tried his luck as well.

Gao Jun was asked to leave but he texted Zhen Zhen that he was downstairs  if she gets into trouble.

She was really losing it when You Gang told her that Youning owed him 1M and would like it back before his wife gives birth.

Zhen Zhen told him to get out.

Episode 13

The stress, worry, and bereavement got too much for Zhen Zhen she fainted right in front of Gao Jun who came to the rescue as he did not trust You Gang at all being alone with Zhen Zhen.

He took her to the hospital where Su Wen asked Old Yan to check up on Zhen Zhen for her.

Gao Jun almost met Su Wen.  It would have resulted in Gao Jun being outed as a fake.

Thankfully, Yan’s ultra-possessive wife turned up at the hospital and took her husband home while Gao Jun brought Zhen Zhen back to her house.

Zhen Zhen insisted for Gao Jun to go home as it was really not appropriate for him to stay the night at her house.

Gao Jun left reluctantly but Zhen Zhen called him later to whisper that there was an intruder at her house.

Gao Jun hurried back and said that the intruder has his own key as her kind of triple lock is hard to unlock even for a master lock lifter.

Episode 14

Gao Jun asked Zhen Zhen where Youning’s keys were.  She said that she bought Youning a new key pouch which was never been found on him when he died.

Zhen Zhen told Gao Jun that she suspect Lu Yang got the keys and had been the one searching her place.

When Zhen Zhen woke up the next morning she found Gao Jun had asked someone to change her door locks.  She was not happy about it because he took the decision out of her hands.

Anyway, he told her that he will be away in Beijing for business.

Meanwhile, You Gang was determined to con Zhen Zhen for a million yuan and asked a scammer to produce receipts of Youning supposed debts from You Gang.

Zhen Zhen was still doing her part-time dishwashing and she had sold her watch for 50,000.

While she was at home, she got a delivery of a couple of boxes of provisions.  She asked Su Wen if it was her who bought the groceries for her but Su Wen said it was not her but to ask Gao Jun instead.

Gao Jun was in front of a women’s prison waiting for someone.

Episode 15

Lu Yang came to deliver the boxes of Youning’s personal stuff from the office.

Zhen Zhen was ready for him.  She was able to set up a rudimentary video recorder to run in order to capture whatever Luyang had intended to do.

In the end, Zhen Zhen did not need the recorder because Lu Yang was so obvious with his next step when he was too interested to find out where Youning’s wrecked car ended up at.  She told him that it was in a salvage yard.

She knew he was going to the yard to locate the car so she left the house as soon as he was gone.  She went to the wrecked car yard and waited for him.

Gao Jun called her and quizzed her about where she was.  She had to tell him as it was obvious from the sound of her surrounding where she was.

They met at the yard.  After many hours of waiting, where Gao Jun eventually fell asleep, Zhen Zhen spotted Lu Yang.  As Gao Jun was sleeping, she followed Lu Yang.  She got a shock when Lu Yang was hit at the back of his head and collapsed on the ground.

Gao Jun was just in time to pull her out of the way so she does not get noticed.

The assailant was gone but Gao Jun went to check on Luyang.  Gao Jun said that he was alive.  He told Zhen Zhen to leave with him so they don’t get implicated.

Zhen Zhen refused to leave and wanted to call the police and ambulance for LuYang. She promised Gao Jun that she would not mention him at all.

Episode 16

Gao Jun stayed at Zhen Zhen house to secretly search Youning’s study.  He was still at Zhen Zhen’s apartment when Zhen Zhen’s inlaws arrived to demand payment of the million yuan that Youning supposed to have borrowed from You Gang.

The family was creating such a racket at the house when the very pregnant Shi Sheng Yu also turned up and asked what was going on.

It was explained to her that they wanted Zhen Zhen to pay the money You Gang loaned to Youning.

You Gang quickly tried to usher his wife out but she refuse to go and started questioning her husband where he got the money he lent Youning. He fabricated sources at first but she was actually quite savvy to realise that her husband would never have 1 million to lend to anyone.

You Gang knew he had to come clean so he confessed to Sheng Yu that he made it up because he had invested money which is all gone and he had already mortgage their house and it will be forclosed soon.

Sheng Yu returned to Zhen Zhen’s house and explained that her husband lied and apologised to Zhen Zhen.

Anyway, Zhen Zhen’s trouble is not over because Gao Jun warned her that she would be likely questioned by the police about Lu Yang as she was the last person he saw.

Zhen Zhen noticed that Gao Jun was rather allergic to the police because he discouraged her to use him as an alibi.

Meanwhile, Director Cui confessed to CEO Fang about Lu Yang.  CEO Fang said to find out everything about Zhen Zhen’s lawyer.

Gao Jun had been visiting a woman with a daughter.  The woman’s husband was in prison.

Episode 17

Zhen Zhen has completely become reliant on Gao Jun.  She seemed to trust him implicitly and now became a pushover from her family and everyone else.

The police came to question her about Lu Yang while she was hiding Gao Jun and a couple of bumbling debt collectors in her bedroom.

Episode 18

Gao Jun was shocked to find that Zhen Zhen was a low-paid overworked dishwasher in a restaurant.

He then confessed to her that he likes her and she does not have to work.  He will buy her a house and a car and give her a monthly allowance.  All she had to do what to keep him company whenever he was in Nanzhou.  When he finds a permanent girlfriend or gets married, their relationship will stop and she can keep the house and the car.  In other words, he was offering her to be his kept woman, his mistress.

Zhen Zhen was so shocked, she slapped him.  She told him that she actually like earning a pittance to feed herself.  She was happy with her lot.

Gao Jun was upset with the outcome because his group are actually winding down their mission involving her. He wanted her settled.

Episode 19

Zhen Zhen refused to forgive Gao Jun for humiliating her so ended up stalking her.  He was rather cute and useful about it because he was there when she found Xia Xialing and confronted him for money laundering.

He described to her who the real boss was.  It sounded like it was Director Qiu.

Episode 20

Gao Jun found out that the Xia Xialing they met the day before was a fake.  He was Zhang Xiaobao, a small time entertainer.  He said that he was hired by someone by phone.  It was a woman and told to pretend to be Xia Xialing.  When Gao Jun asked him why he had Xia Xialing’s phone, Zhang Xiaobao said that the phone was his but he was given an sd card by the woman on the phone to use.

Gao Jun is totally puzzled now.  Who was the woman?

CEO Fang was surprised when he found out from Director Qiu that Zhen Zhen’s lawyer was Gao Jun.  CEO Fang asked the director to check Gao Jun.

Director Qiu went to Zhen Zhen’s apartment to bring her some goodies which he said was courtesy of JinZang as CEO Fang worries about her.  Director Qiu was too interested to search Youning’s study and saw his diary on his desk.

Zhen Zhen told him that Lu Yang gave it to her.

When Zhen Zhen later told Su Wen about the diary which she looked into, she found that it was just a mundane day-to-day journal but she told Zhen Zhen that if read with other things it might make sense so she asked Zhen Zhen to give her the court document as well as her bank statement.

Zhen Zhen told her that her bank statement was with Gao Jun. When Zhen Zhen called Gao Jun, he was reluctant to return the document back to her.

But they agreed to meet up.

Episode 21

Gao Jun turned up at Zhen Zhen’s apartment.  When she asked him when he was returning to Beijing, he told her that he will be staying put in the meantime to help her out with her case.

Zhen Zhen was not happy about it and told him that does not want to work with him anymore, especially since she knows his feelings for her.

Gao Jun said that he will ask for anything from her.  He made a deal that they can both walkaway from each other with just. quick goodbye.

She was still unsure about it but he was persistent.

Poor You Gang now works as  debt collector but got beaten badly by the debtor’s gang.

Anyway, she went to see CEO Fang to talk about Youning’s death compensation.  CEO Fang warned her that she was being used by someone closed to her to dig into Youning’s work.  He told her to make sure it stops.

So when she met Su Wen, she told him not to use her anymore to dig into Youning for her work audit.

Episode 22

Su Wen and Zhen Zhen had a massive fallout.  but Su Wen tried to explain to Zhen Zhen that was only doing the best for her.

Yan Xiaowen saw Zhen Zhen drive away while Su Wen was trying to catch up.  He ushered Su Wen into a conference room and asked what was the matter.  He could not believe that the two would have a fight when they were like two peas in a pod.

Zhen Zhen actually purposely picked up a fight with Su Wen so that she stopped investigating Youning and put herself in danger.

Su Wen was absolutely gutted about her fight with Zhen Zhen.  She confessed to Yan that she owed Zhen Zhen a lot.  Zhen Zhen secretly donated one of her kidneys to Su Wen.

It was Gao Jun’s birthday and invited Zhen Zhen to go out to dinner with him but she said she cannot take anymore leave from work so declined to go.

But Brother Jiu later called Zhen Zhen telling her that Gao Jun was drunk and she had to come to get him.

Episode 23

They do have a lot of chemistry.

Zhen Zhen and Su Wen made up after Su Wen promised to stop investigating Youning.  Su Wen had asked a leave of absence due to ill health from her boss.

Gao Jun is falling for Zhen Zhen in a big way.  He wanted to start a relationship with Zhen Zhen but she continues to rebuff him despite feeding her her favourite Red Velvet cake.

Episode 24

There is so much happening in this episode.

Director Qiu tried to bribe Su Wen with 2M to stop the auditing but she turned him down.

The real Gao Jun is working in cahoot with CEO Fang.

Lu Yang had woken up from his coma but he had not say anything yet.

Gao Jun told Zhen Zhen to sue the bank for issuing her with bank card when she obviously did not apply for it.

Then Youning’s parents wanted Zhen Zhen to come around.  They wonderingly told her that Youning is not dead.  He left a bagful of medicine for his mother saying to help him take care of Zhen Zhen.

Zhen Zhen started wondering if he was alive.  When she was driving home, she thought she saw him but just missed him as he boarded a taxi.

When she got to her apartment, there was a box of Red Velvet cake waiting for her by her front door telling her to not worry about the case as it will be sorted out soon

CEO Fang who was beginning to think that Youning is not dead actually received a call from Youning asking him to pay him 100M for evidence he has in his hands.

Episode 25

This episode is exciting as well.

Gao Jun and Brother Liu had the supposed letter from Youning  sent to a graphologist for authenticity.  The handwriting expert could say that there were similarities between the letter and Youning’s other letter but he could not be sure without seeing the original.

Zhen Zhen and Gao Jun were visiting Luyang at the hospital when they also met Director Qiu.  Zhen Zhen noticed a man looking like Youning and followed him.  He got away but he dropped her old ID card.

Gao Jun asked her if she thought that Youning is still alive and would she go back to him if he was.  She told him that he is alive and that as it is, she is married to him.

Gao Jun was not happy with her answer and told her that she was just saying that because she wanted Gao Jun to leave her.

He told her that he was not leaving which forced Zhen Zhen to confess that even if Youning is alive she won’t return to him.

Poor Su Wan is in deep trouble.  Director Qiu reported her for asking him for a bribe so she would stop the audit.

During the investigation, her most trusted ally, Zhang Xi Yao, turned on her and said that she saw Su Wan receiving a package which has two gold bars.

Su Wan was so shocked because the package she received was the phone she asked Zhang Xi Yao to order for her.

Episode 26

Su Wan was fitted well and truly because when she asked Zhen Zhen to check the box of the mobile phone she left at Zhen Zhen’s flat, Zhen Zhen did find a couple of mini-gold bars.

Su Wan was arrested and taken to Guangzhou.

Zhen Zhen with Gao Jun went to Guangzhou but they were not allowed to see Su Wan.

With all the worries, Zhen Zhen became delirious with fever.

Gao Jun had to take her to the hospital where he found out that she had had a kidney taken out.

Episode 27

It was Zhen Zhen’s day in court but Gao Jun had to leave to see to a little girl looking for him.  The girl was a woman who was in prison after accidentally killing her husband.

Youning’s mother and aunt found out that Gao Jun is also called Mr Tan. It turned out the girl was a neighbor.

Youning’s aunt saw Gao Jun bringing the girl back to her aunt’s house.

So it is getting more complicated.

Zhen Zhen is becoming more ill after her flu.  She almost collapsed at work.

It so happened You Gang saw how pathetic her current life was.

Episode 28

Zhen Zhen finally wised up that Gao Jun is a fake.

You Gang’s wife told her to be careful as she head that her lawyer had a very close relationship with the aunt of a child who leave near them.

Zhen Zhen finally searched Gao Jun online and went to visit him in his office.  It was the real Gao Jun.

He told her that she cannot report the fake Gao Jun because he had not done anything that is really harmful to her.

Without Su Wan, Zhang Xi Yao became the lead auditor but before she could strut her staff, Wu Song Rong let her know that he overheard her conversation with Su Wan regarding buying the mobile phone.

Episode 29

I am really loving this drama.  There are so many twists and turns.

Now, Zhen Zhen is between not trusting Gao Jun and then remembering how tender he is to her.

Gao Jun noticed that Zhen Zhen had turned cold towards him and that she was keeping secrets.

She even borrowed his phone and secretly went into his call history and took the numbers he calls the most.

One of the numbers was that of Xu Xiaolong, the aunt of the girl.  So zhen Zhen is curious what Gao Jun’s relationship with the aunt.

Meanwhile, Shi Sheng Yu, Zhen Zhen’s sister-in-law, who works at Jiangping was able to record a conversation between Zhang Xi Yao and Director Qiu

Zhang Xi Yao wanted Director Qiu to do something with Wu Song Rong and stop blackmailing her after all she did what Director Qiu asked her to do, set up Su Wan.

Episodes 30 – 31

Zhen Zhen can’t help being attracted to the bogus Gao Jun but still, she does not trust him anymore so she installed a camera in her living room to see what he was up to when he was at her house.

Unfortunately, he found the camera when he was tidying up the house.  He was very upset and told her that he really likes her and he really believes that she like him too.

ZhenZhen said that how can she like him when she does not know him really. This after she found out more information about Gao Jun who was really Tan Shen from little Yiyi

Yiyi begged Zhen Zhen not to take away Tan Shen from her family.  She said that her aunt is not Tan Shen’s girlfriend but his mother.

When Zhen Zhen asked where her mother, Xu Xialing, the aunt turned up and told off Zhen Zhen for pumping the little girl for information about Tan Shen.

Yiyi left immediately when she saw her aunt in the warpath.  Anyway, Zhen Zhen explained that she lost her husband a couple of months back, leaving her with a mountain of debts.  Tan Shen then approached her pretending to be a person from her high school.

Xu Xialing understood her feeling and told Zhen Zhen what happened to YIYI’s mother.  The mother was Xu Xialing’s brother’s wife.

Apparently, Tan Shen encouraged the mother to report her husband’s violence towards her to the police which enraged her brother who ended up being accidentally stabbed by the mother so ended up in prison.

Poor Zhen Zhen was in despair and can’t trust Gao Jun/Tan Shen anymore.

Tan Shen promised to be truthful to her and will tell her everything.  Zhen Zhen agreed to work with him.  He was after the list Youning made of fraudulent transactions more than the money.  Zhen Zhen said she will have the money.

Meanwhile, the ambitious Zhang Xi Yao had now plotted to have Wu Song Rong from the job so she will be the chief auditor.

CEO Fang ordered Director Qiu to have Zhen Zhen kidnapped to use as leverage against Youning.

Episode 32

The kidnapping happened but was not successful as Tan Shen and his team saved Zhen Zhen.

True to his word, Tan Shen became for forthcoming with information so he took Zhen Zhen to his hideout in the marina to introduce her to Qiao Wu, Brother Liu and Qiao Qi.  It turned out that Tan Shen is actually Tan Sitiao.

The team found out that the person who hired Zhang Xiao Bao to pretend as Xia Xialing was a women so they started following Selina Chen who was in the hospital where Luyang was.

Director Qiu was beginning to distrust CEO Fang.

It turned out that Luyang’s relative had been the one blackmailing CEO Fang pretending to be Youning.

Episode 33

Su Wen had been let out of prison.  She had secretly taken copies of Youning’s journal and other documents.

Zhen Zhen was happy to see her but she did not tell her that Gao Jun was really Tan Sitiao.  But then Su Wen knew already that he was the fake Gao Jun and was called Tan Shen.

Tan Sitiao that people changed even if you are very close to someone, it would not take much for someone to turn on you.

Meanwhile, Brother Liu was confined in the same hospital as Luyang so the team is using this opportunity to observe the goings on around LuYang.

Few more episodes and this drama is over.  I am going to miss this drama.  It is so good.

Episode 34

Zhen Zhen saved Luyang from being terminated by a fake doctor.  While chasing after him she was going to be run over purposely by a motorcyclist but You Gang turned up to save her and then so did Tan Shen.

You Gang warned her to watch out.

You Gang got home to Shi Sheng Yu who asked him to sign the divorce paper.  You Gang begged her for another chance.  She noticed that he was bruised so he had to confess that he just saved Zhen Zhen from being run down, he added that someone was trying to kidnap Zhen Zhen.

To his surprise, Shi Sheng Yu was not jealous nor angry but rather interested to find out more but her mother interrupted and told off You Gang that he was gallivanting with another woman when he should be looking after his pregnant wife.

For once, Shi Sheng Yu contradicted her mother and told her that the problem in her marriage started with her mother who blundered from one problem to the next.

Su Wen was back at work and started her investigation.

The real Gao Jun was instructed by Director Chen to sort out the problem otherwise their big boss will remove him from his position.

Episode 35

Tan Shen went with Yiyi and her aunt to fetch An Rui Yun(Yiyi’s mother) from prison.  He did not tell Zhen Zhen where he was going which miffed Zhen Zhen.

So to get back at Tan Shen, she refused to tell him that she had agreed to meet the real Gao Jun.

Brother Jiu scolded Tan Shen for still having anything to do with An Rui Yun.  He said that it was. unfair to Zhen Zhen if he really has feelings for her.  Brother Jiu got more annoyed when Tan Shen confessed that he gave a large sum of money to An Rui Yun.

Director Xu cover up for Su Wen against Zhang Xi Yao who was creating a scene when she saw Su Wen going and leaving Mr Xu’s office secretly.

Wu Song Rong saw what was going on and divulged what Zhang Xi Yao had been involved with, starting with the mobile phone which she pretended she did not know anything about.

Episode 36

Gao Jun accompanied Zhen Zhen to the hospital to quiz Luyang.  At first, Luyang pretended that he had amnesia but Zhen Zhen confided knowingly that she was the one who called the ambulance at the car yard when he had an accident

She also told him that she knows everything, and that Xia Xuliang was the man who knocked Luyang cold.  They were accomplices but had a disagreement which led to what happened at the car yard.  She added that they were looking for the clients’ list but they can’t find it.  As a piece de resistance, Zhen Zhen announced that Xu Youning has it because he is alive.

Gao Jun took everything from what he heard.  Why Luyang was aghast that Zhen Zhen really seemed to know everything.

At the carpark, Zhen Zhen later noticed that Gao Jun was behaving suspiciously and covered his face when they were under the camera.

He told Zhen Zhen that she should stop her investigation but concentrate instead with her case.  He asked her if she really believes that Youning is alive

Zhen Zhen said that she does.  On his way to Gao Jun’s car, Zhen Zhen stopped.  Thank goodness, Tan Shen then arrived and rescued her from whatever Gao Jun might try to do.

After Gao Jun drove off, Zhen Zhen asked him why he was so late.  He hugged her and she hugged him back for the first time.

He then took her back to the caravan by the seaside where he had been hiding her for the last few days.

They became more lovey dovey that Zhen Zhen asked him if he treats  An Rui Yun the same way.

Tan Shen said that he was never intimate with An Rui Yun.  They then flirted cutely.  They do have lots of chemistry.

Tan Shen asked her if she really believe that Youning is alive, and she denied it, she was just playing mind games with Luyang.

Tan Shen took her to the shooting range and taught her how to shoot.  She then received a call from An Rui Yun asking to meet up.

Tan Shen said that there is no real reason why she had to meet An Rui Yun, he will tell her everything she wanted to know.

Zhen Zhen said she was curious.

An Rui Yun confirmed that there was nothing between her and Tan Shen.

Zhen Zhen then asked who put it online that she was having an affair with Tan Shen.

Meanwhile, Su Wen had a lunch date with Yan Xiaowen.  She told him that the kidney she received from Zhen Zhen was failing so she does not really have much time.  She needs money so she wanted to work with Yan to find the 40million.

But Yan is part of the collective.

Episode 37

Everything is beginning to unravel.

Tan Shen admitted to Zhen Zhen that he did feel more about An Rui than just being a client.

Gao Jun was ordered by Secretary Chen to clean up the issue and was given a gun which shocked Gao Jun to the core.

Su Wen went to see CEO Fang with her evidence in return for money but the transaction did not go well especially when Zhen Zhen turned up with Tan Shen to stop Su Wen from going to the dark side.

Zhen Zhen knew that Su. Wen was trying to get money for Zhen Zhen.

Zhen Zhen managed to convince Su Wen to go to the police instead.

CEO Fang told Director Qiu to take the fall and that he will look after his family.  Having been made an offer he can’t refuse, Director Qiu surrendered himself to the police.

Meanwhile, Selina tried to make Xia Xiliang to lie low but he was too greedy despite having been given a bit of money by Selina.  He called CEO Fang pretending to be Youning again but CEO Fang already found out about him.

Episode 38

It is a bit of anti-climax.  So many unanswered questions.

Who brought the medicine to Youning’s parents?

Who killed Youning?  Why kill him when they have not gotten the list from him?

Who was the Big Boss that CEO Fang, Gao Jun and Secretary Chen answer to?

What did Luyan say to Zhen Zhen that he does not want Tan Shen to hear?

Why would Zhen Zhen ask Su Wen to help her pack her things when she knows that Su Wen has a pretty bad kidney problem?

Anyway, so many more questions but at least it is a happy ending but almost went wrong when Zhen Zhen once again being so headstrong went to meet Selina to talk about Youning’s secrets.  But it was all a trap by CEO Fang.

Gao Jun turned up with a gun and would have killed Zhen Zhen if Tan Shen did not turn up as well.

Instead, it was Tan Shen who got shot.

The list was finally found accidentally by Zhen Zhen and Su Wen.  It was inside a figurine of a husband and wife that Zhen Zhen took from Youning’s office when she was clearing his stuff.  She brought it home and mended it as it was broken a little.

Su Wen knocked the poor thing over and inside was the SD card.  They took it to the police.

The police rounded up the perpetrators from their evidence.

Zhen Zhen got the money back and the case against her was dropped.  She sold her apartment and gave most of the money to her in-laws.

She tried to give a million to You Gang and his wife but then his wife was the decent sort and turned the offer down and said that they will work hard themselves to pay off their debts.  Aww

It looks like that Zhen Zhen will become Mrs Tan.  Tan Shen will open a law office.  He has recoved from his bullet wounds.
