Episode 1
Lu Zhaoxi was camping in a forest near a little village. He was just packing up when he heard a pained sound of an animal. He found a little goat who was injured in caught in some bush.
He drove his car which got caught in torrential rain and soil erosion which caused him to have an accident.
He broke out of his car and with the little goat in his arm, he walked in his injured leg,.
It so happened that a young lady, Ye Shilan, who was the owner of the goat was looking for it. She took Lu Zhaoxi to her house cum medical clinic and suspiciously looked at his injuries.
Despite telling her that he was not a baddy but in fact the President of Anxiang Hospital. She laughed at his face and told him that he is such a conman.
She remembered the warning for the villager that a well-dressed man had been selling fake medicinal wine. Immediately Ye Shilian jumped to the conclusion that Lu Zhaoxi must be the man. Despite his protestation, she would not believe him and tried to beat him up with a broom. Everything that he ate, she would create a receipt that he could not pay as he somehow left his wallet in his car which is now buried in the landslide by the side of the mountain.
Lu Zhaoxi’s trouble was further exacerbated by the lack of a powerline so he can’t call for assistance from his family and colleagues. He had just to rely on the kindness and tolerance of strangers for now.
Episode 2
Lu Zhaoxi continued to say that he was the president of Anxing Hospital which really irked Ye Shilan.
She told him that she was actually a doctor of pediatrics at Anxing Hospital and she had never heard of him.
Anyway, he got on with the chores at the clinic farm for his temporary upkeep. He cleaned the styes and fed the animals without any complaints.
In the end, Lu Zhaoxi was not too dismissive of him.
She told him that she was sort of punished by Dr Huang because she insisted on a case to be looked at. Dr Huang then sent her to this clinic farm and no matter how much she apply to get back at Anxing Hospital, Dr. Huang ignores her.
Lu Zhaoxi asked her why not to go to another hospital.
Ye Shilan said that the pay at Anxing is much better than at any hospital. She was buying her own apartment which has been her dream so she puts up with Dr Huang and his decisions.
Lu Zhaoxi got drunk on the herbal wine that the Clinic doctor had brewed. It was very potent but Ye Shilan was used to it and took advantage of Lu Zhaoxi while he was drunk. Not too bad, she just wanted a semi-intimate photo of her with Lu Zhaoxi that she could send to her mother who had been nagging her incessantly to get a boyfriend.
Episode 3
Finally, power has been restored and the road had been cleared.
Lu Zhaoxi hurried back home without even saying farewell to Ye Shilan.
A few days later, supplies arrived at the little clinic together with a new scanner. They realised that they had misjudged Lu Zhaoxi but Ye Shilan still insisted that he could not be the president of Anxing Hospital as his name was nowhere to be found at the hospital directory which is available online.
A few more days later, Ye Shilan received a text recalling her back to Anxing Hospital.
She returned to her beautiful apartment only to find out that it had become a bit of a sty because her flatmate was a bit of a trump and does not pick after herself. Shilan was too happy to be home to really mind.
Her first day at the hospital was eventful. She saw her old boyfriend and before she could unpack her things, she was summoned to see the president in his office.
She was gobsmacked to find that Lu Zhaoxi was really the president. She started recalling how nasty and rather cruel she was with him at the clinic.
All she could do was to apologise profusely.
