Fairly exciting first episode.
1990: Eun Yong just came out of prison and the only person who was genuinely please to see him was a single mother and her son.
So Eun Yong told the woman that he will be the boy’s stand-in father from then on. He promised that he will buy them a better apartment.
But the only way he could be employed was to become one of the gangs that beat up debtors who can’t pay a loan shark.
For eight years he was a hood but Eun Yong had a special talent. He has a photographic memory so he dabbled in investment; stocks and shares.
Meanwhile, the little boy had grown up and despite not really being outstanding, he persevered and pass the board exam and became a prosecutor. He is Jang Tae Chun.
Jang Tae Chun at first was given mundane cases but he started working on an investment case that has a connection with a bank whose CEO was a former prosecutor. So he was told to hold the case off.
