Episode 1
Blurb: The world was in a turbulent times. Three nations of Xixiang, Yannan and Beixuan are in constant strife.
Beixuan was known for its valour. It’s dominated by the five clans of Xuan, Xi, Luo, Sun and Su. It was necessary to elect a Lord Wolf to stabilise Beixuan. The Lord Wolf is born with an eagle mark on his neck which so happenend that Xuan Lie has, thus making him the Lord Wolf.
Yannan is an up and coming place teeming with commerce. The Jun family was well known for their meticulous design of weaponry, which is key to national defence.
The secret art of weapon design is being passed down from father to Jun Qin Luo (Jun Fei Fan), a woman who decided to pretend as a boy to stand as the male heir as tradition dictates. Not that there was no male heir to the Jun family. Jun Yu Yue, Qin Luo’s brother, was rather profligate, and causes trouble and untold damage to the family. Jun Yu Yue’s latest transgression was killing a member of the Xuan clan. Because of this, the Jun has become a target for revenge for the Xuan.
Jun Qin Luo requested to be allowed to go to Xixiang for a business conference. She told her father that she would ensure to look for the Black Iron crystal at Xixiang. The black crystal is necessary for their new innovation of crossbow arrows.
Against his better judgment and very reluctantly, Father Jun allowed Qin Luo to go as it would be a periously journey to Xixiang. But Shao Qi MIn, their very able guard assured Father Jun that he would protect Qin Luo with his life.
And how this was. They were met by bandits but they got rescued by the Xuan Clan headed by Lord Wolf.
Lord Wolf, however, was not letting anyone go as he was determined to find Jun Fei Fan, the person he mistook for killing one of the Xuan.
Unfortunately there were so many Xuan soldiers so despite his fighting prowess, Qi Min was overwhelmed and stabbed in the chest while trying to protect Qin Luo, who was dressed as a man.
Lord Wolf however immediately found out that Qin Luo was a girl.
Qin Luo told him that she was a maid of Jun Fei Fan. She further lied that Jun Fei Fan had gone ahead to Xixiang.
Song Wei Long is gorgeous as Lord Wolf and Angelababy is an ageless beauty.
