Quick Precis:
Lu Yuheng works as a CEO of an IT company. He is cold and exacting but ever so gorgeous so he was treated as a male god. (He or rather Tong Meng Shi was Wu Zhu in Joy of Life)
Sparks fly when he met the new anchor Lin Xiaodi.
It might not be exactly hate at first sight between them but they did not get on to start with. But over time Yuheng realised that Xiaodi was the beloved childhood friend he had been searching for years.
Then they of course fall in love and lived happily ever after. LOL . sweet.
Episode 1
Just started watching this drama. It would have been more enjoyable if the script did not make the modern female lead so stupid. Seriously. Angelina Jiang deserves better.
Anyway, the story is that Xiaodi had just resigned from her job to pursue her dream of bringing and making the Hanfu world-famous. Yes, she is a fashion designer.
She was just walking out of the building where she worked when someone ran into her; making her dropped her leaving box on the ground.
She was about to scream at the guy when she noticed how gorgeous he was. She found out though that he was quite famous as his assistant shoved money as compensation to her. She returned it annoyed and left him.
They met again when she went to get an autograph for her friend and found out her friend’s idol was the guy she bumped into. It did not go well, she left without the autograph.
She moved into a new apartment building. She was quite excited with the place. The next morning after cleaning the place, she went to the bathroom to freshen herself up. She accidentally dropped her mini-tub of moisturiser into the toilet bowl. Instead of picking it up , as any sane person would do since the toilet was clean, she flushed it instead which blocked the loo.
The building maintenance said that their engineers will start working at 8 am so she had to wait as it was only 5am.
She got so desperate to use the toilet that she knocked on her next-door neighbour and then barged her way into his toilet.
It so happened. that the neighbour was none other than the guy she bumped into. He is Lu Yuheng, a talented guy who wanted to make E-Sport big in China.
Anyway, he asked what taking a strange girl so long in the toilet.
Xiaodi said she was having some problems. She was having her period and would need a sanitary pad. She realised that she forgot to bring her house keys and won’t be able to go home.
She borrowed Yuheng’s phone and called her friend, Mu Ran to rescue her and bring her spare key.
He did arrive after an hour. He took her home. He was then supposed to sort out her toilet. While waiting, Xiaodi fell asleep but when she woke she found that the whole flat was flooded.
Episode 2
Xiaodi has to move out of her apartment while it is drying up. Where better to stay than the next-door apartment?
Xiaodi found out that Yuheng has a pathological fear of touch as well as darkness but for some reason, he did not mind her touches and found her comforting during a powercut. So he allowed her to stay in his apartment temporarily.
Episode 3
Yuheng got a call from someone saying that he had information on someone Yuheng had been looking for. He was told to go to the almost abandoned Luheng Building.
When he got there he was locked and trapped in a darkened warehouse. The dastardly deed was done by Liu Bi, who was his rival in e-Sport.
Yuheng was having a panic attack when Xiaodi called and asked where he was.
She found where he was but can’t open the door easily.
