Episode 1
What can I say? I love it. I love the first episode.
Shin Sung Han, Jang Hyun Geun, and Jo Jung Sik are confirmed bachelors and friends.
Shin Sung Han and Jang Hyun Geun worked together in their own bijou law office while Jo Jung Sik is a prosperous CEO of his real estate agency.,
Jng Hyun Geun is sometimes frustrated with Shi Sung Han because he felt that Sung Han was not utilising his full potential after all he is the Dougie Howser of law. Instead of an average of four years to study and take the exam, Shi Sung Han managed to do it in two years and now he concentrates on divorce cases which Jang Hyun Geun thinks is not good enough for his friend.
He asked Sung Han why he likes being a divorce lawyer when he had never married.
Sung Han said that he liked the family aspect of it.
This was proven when a once-shining and popular television personality came to see him talk about getting a divorce.
Sung Han turned her down and said that perhaps she should seek someone else
The reason he turned her down at first was that Lee Seo Jin was trending with harsh commentaries about her lascivious affair with a toyboy.
Seo Jin said that she was not after money from her husband or a share of their conjugal properties. All she wanted was custody of her son.
She sounded and looked sincere, Sung Han had a change of heart. He told her that she should return to the family house to be with her son rather than stay at a hotel. He reminded her no matter what provocation her husband does, she must not abandon her son.
Anyway, Sunghan got more stories about what happened.
Seo Jin’s toyboy used her to get popular by posting a sex tape he took of them secretly. It was lewd.
What was heartbreaking about the background of the sex tape was that the hospital was calling her as a guardian to her son who had been in an accident at school. Her son said later that he called her ten times himself at the hospital but she declined his calls.
That toyboy must have been on viagra.🤣🤣🤣
Anyway, it turned out that Seojin has an abusive husband, very controlling. He even photographed her underwear drawers every day to see what and how many she uses and what is missing. He left her a mountain of post-it notes to denigrate her as a person.
Sunghan managed to speak to the young son which made him more than ever to win the case for Seojin.
Episode 2
Sunghan won the custody case for Seojin after little Kang Hyeon Woo gave him evidence against his father. He told a shocked Sunghan that his father forced him to watch his mother’s sex tape when the boy said that he wanted to live with his mother.
Seojin was very grateful. She noticed the grape drawing on Sunghan’s office wall. She asked why there is only one unshaded circle left where there were two the last time she was in his office.
He looked at her and she understood that it was the cases he had already dealt with.
There is more backstory with Sunghan. Apparently, he was a pianist and used to teach music while he was in Germany.
But something seemed to have happened so he became a lawyer.
Episode 3
Atty Shin found himself trending after his drunk piano playing found itself online. He tried to contact the person who uploaded his video to take it down but he was not replying.
His new case was of a lady who was basically a slave to her family for 20 years and now had had enough.
When she told Atty Shin that she beat up her mother-in-law who is now in hospital, Atty Shin was rather wary of taking the case but then he remembered seeing her cleaning the building all year round for three years. She is quiet and very unassuming.
Atty Shin sent his real estate friend to investigate the case. Jo Jung Sik confirmed that the lady was maltreated by her family.
Atty Shin found out more that the mother-in-law owns the building where the family lived in but it was originally the lady’s husband who bought it. But because he was scared that he would lose it as his business was not going great, he transferred the deed under his mother’s name. There was a document proving who bought the building and who still really owns it. It was her husband and she was the one who worked so hard to pay the mortgage on the building. Now she wanted her share.
Lee Seo Jin turned up at the law office again asking for a job. She said she will do anything. She is very resourceful and able. In fact, she managed to fix the sliding door that refuses to slide in Atty Shin’s office. Seojin wanted a documented job to prove that she can look after her son.
Jang Hyung Geun was in a bad place. His wife was resolute in getting a divorce because she had fallen for someone else
As to Atty Shin, he has only one grape to colour and then he will fight for his nephew’s custody
