The story is about Xia Yu Meng whose livelihood as a cartoonist created a villain in her story.
Fantastically, the villain Sheng Ming Xi came to life, into her life.
Episode 1
Xia Yu Meng had written her first comic book during the summer holiday. She made her crush Bai Ze the hero. To make his character shine even more, she created an anti-hero she called Shen Ming Xi.
She made Sheng Ming Xi so ferocious with his equally ferocious-looking alpaca. He was so nasty she began having nightmares about him.
Yu Meng’s had gone back to school. She was a medical student. She was glad to see her friends but even happier to see Bai Ze.
She told her friends about her comic book and told them that Bai Ze was the hero. She then said that she created a random character as anti-hero.
She called him Sheng Ming Xi.
Not long after a new medical student appeared. He was Sheng Ming Xi.
Episode 2
Poor Sheng Ming Xi told Yu Meng that he does not have any memories of what happened before or even yesterday but somehow she was so familiar to him.
Yu Meng had to improvise. She told him that they were childhood best friend until he left.
He begged her to make him remember his past.
She agreed but what she did was to draw more of him in her story. She tried different ways to kill him off.
Episode 3 – 4
Yu Meng asked Mr Zhao to tell Sheng Ming Xi that he was Yu Meng’s childhood friend not an ex-boyfriend.
Poor Mr Zhao got muddled and told Ming Xi that Yu Meng was his ex-girlfriend.
Ming Xi believed it and wanted to be closer to Yu Meng.
Yumeng told made him realise that he was an ex. He said that he wanted her to move into his apartment so he could remember his past with her next to him.
They both realised that every time she hugs him, he became calm and not too combatant anymore. He loses the compulsion to beat up Bei Ze.
As Yumeng would not get back with MingXi, he suggested that they remained friends. YuMeng agreed.
Mingxi could not help himself though to be jealous of Beize.
He was upset when Yumeng used Beize as her model for her drawing class.
Episode 5
Poor Yumeng was feeling left and often a third-wheeler at the growing friendship between Mingxi and Beize.
Episode 6
Mingxi was hurt fighting hooligans. He was winning initially but there was thunder and lightning which made him so frightened so ended up getting beaten.
Yumeng heard the thunder and lightning and called Mingxi’s phone which was answered by Luo Luo, Mingxi’s classmate who had a crush on him.
Anyway, Yumeng took him home and looked after him.
They almost kissed. Yumeng was annoyed with herself because she was in love with Beize.
Episode 7
Mingxi wanted to confirm with Yumeng that they broke up because he fell in love with someone else.
Yumeng said that was what happened but Mingxi was not convinced. He thought it was her who found someone else.
Their quarrel affected the Welcome Party where Han Fei Yang was performing his peacock dance. While Yumeng was dying of embarrassment Mingxi gave her a peck on the cheek in front of everybody.
Episode 8
Yumeng was so annoyed because they became the talk of the university.
Anyway, she realised that Mingxi had evolved from how she had written his character. He is no longer a troublemaker and he was not frightened of thunder and lightning. She decided to leave him and move out of his apartment so he can be truly independent.
She told him who he really was, that he was a fictional character from her comic book. She later realised that he knew already because he found the original comic book she had misplaced.
She was so annoyed with him she packed her bags.
Episode 9
Yumeng continued to worry over Mingxi who had been trying various ways to kill himself.
