Episode 1
Wow! I really, really enjoyed the first episode. I did not expect it.
Anyway, Tang Qian Yue and General Ling Chang Feng are a very loving couple.
He is in the army while she runs her own rouge shop.
As it was a New Year festival, Chang Feng told her that he will take her out later to celebrate.
Qian Yue waited for her husband in the town centre where there is a night market with people milling around to celebrate the New Year.
Anyway, Chang Feng turned up with a lovely wrap for her for the cold night. They were going from stall to stall when suddenly there was a parade of women in red dresses. It was spectacular at first but then they started attacking the people to death. They were biting anyone that they came across.
Chang Feng ordered one of his men to take Qian Yue to the safety of her nearby shop while he fought the vampires.
When he was about done, he went to look for his wife but found her guard dying and her on the ground with bite marks on her neck.
He tried to wake her up. She did wake up but only to bite him on his neck.
The next moment, Qian Yue woke up. It was only a dream. But it was a deja vu because everything from her dream was becoming a reality. So she tried to change it a bit. But the outcome was almost the same
Episode 2
This drama is really good. Totally recommend it.
Anyway, Qianyue was unconscious. Chang Feng was told by the doctor that the only thing that could possibly cure Qianyue was the Kirin Blood.
Chang Feng knew the only place to get it was from the Marshall House. So he went there ready to fight to the death for the Kirin blood but the Mashall asked him whether he came there to threaten everyone of beg for it.
The proud but desperate Chang Feng fell to his knees and begged the shocked marshall. Chang Feng then went to find the bottle of kirin blood. The shocked marshall was still thinking about what Chang Feng be needing the blood for.
The kirin blood did work on Qianyue for a while. She woke not remembering what happened and then fainted again.
Chang Feng was disorientated by what was happening. He went to get more kirin blood concoction on the pot but when he turned back, the bed was empty and then a red-eyed Qianyue was levitating.
Qianyue was not a loving wife but rather had turned into a banshee, a dangerous banshee. But Chang Feng only half fought his wife. He hugged her tightly and then she calm down.
The next morning, she was like her normal self. Can’t remember what happened the night before.
But Chang Feng was wary of her. Qianyue noticed that Chang Feng was different, for once, he did not apply her eyebrow pencil on her.
Meanwhile, Marshall heard of what happened during the New Year festival. He was told of the strange marking on the dead and the victims of the red-eyed monsters. He said it sounded like it is a butterfly virus from the Yilan Clan.
Episode 3
Chang Feng remembered how he came to meet Qianyue. He rescued her during a massacre in a village. He now realised that she is from the Yilun Village.
Anyway, he told Nanny Hong to look after Qianyue and not to let her out of the mansion.
Chang Feng was called to the palace because Prince Wuan had returned and throwing his weight in the palace. He was forcing the young emperor to issue an edict.
Prince Wuan was the son of the Mashall who was the guardian of the young Emperor.
Meanwhile,Qianyue saw the markings on her neck had returned. She was just about to carve it out when the Princess came to visit.
The Princess is a cousin of her Chang Feng. They stayed chatting for a long time until the Princess developed nose bleed.
The blood triggered Qianyue’s inner demon. She tried to beg the princess to leave immediately but it was too late.
Soon after, Chang Feng returned and saw the Princess collapse on the low table while Qianyue was nearby with blazing red eyes. Qianyue tried to attack Chang Feng but he managed to embrace her tightly. He then took his dagger and plunge it to Qianyue.
Episode 4
Chang Feng apologised to Qianyue for stabbing her. He said it was the only way to calm her down. He told her that the princess was alright and can’t remember anything.
Qianyue told Chang Feng that she can asked her anything about her true nature. He asked if she killed the people in the village. She said that she killed the soldiers but not the people.
This episode chronicles how Chang Feng and Qianyue met. She was a young girl he rescued from a village massacre. He pitied her so he gave her provisions so she doesn’t starve.
Qianyue liked how kind he was so she followed him when he left. He allowed her to tag along until they reach town. He bought her a pair of shoes and gave her money. She thought the money is for burning to keep one’s warm.
Chang Feng gave her more money when they got to town. He asked a woman who was selling street food to look after her as he was leaving.
The woman agreed. But when she ask Qianyue to go home with her Qianyue refused and when the woman try to drag her, Qianyue bit her. So the woman left.
Qianyue stayed where she was just waiting for Chang Feng to turn up.
After a few days, he did. She back hugged the surprised Chang Feng when she saw him.
Episode 5
Chang Feng became the unofficial guardian of Qianyue because he had no choice. She followed him everywhere and would not let him out of her sight.
So he took her to his manor and told her that she could live there. As he is a bachelor, he only had a minimal amount of servants so he found a nanny for her.
Qianyue was like a little child who needed everything explained to her in fine detail like not eating soap, how to bathe, and even how to talk. At first, Chang Feng thought she was mute. He also reminds her to wear slippers.
Anyway, Chang Feng nurtured her and Qianyue is blossoming and getting used to normal life. Love this drama.
Episode 6
After two years nurtured by Chang Feng and Nanny Hong, Qianyue learned to read and write. She had turned into a polished lady ready for marriage.
Qianyue said she never thought of getting married. On the other hand, the Grand Marshall reminded Chang Feng that he had to marry Shen Qin, the daughter of the Prime Minister as it had been agreed. Chang Feng just ignored his father.
