Episode 1
Xu Yin happily skipped on the way home to Anfu Hall when she saw slain bodies littering the ground. Against a pillar, her father Xu Liulang was dead.
Xuyin saw the perpetrator. It was Gu Shenghan. When she tried to attack him, he grabbed her bit her on the neck.
One year later…
The Emperor bestowed the daughter of the Prime Minister Xu Qing Qing to Gu Shenghan, an esteemed General from the Northern Border.
Xu Qing Qing said that she would rather kill herself than marry a cripple.
She was interrupted by Xu Yin, who had become her maid. Xuyin asked why kill herself, why not kill Gu Shenghan instead?
Xu Yin added that she can marry Gu Shenghan herself pretending to be Xu Qing Qing. With a magical Kylie cosmetics🤣 with fillers and a little botox here and there, she could look like Xu Qing Qing.
So it came to be that Xuyin as Gu Shenghan was to marry the cripple cannibal, Gu Shenghan.
During the ceremony, Gu Shenghan was uninterested and tried to forego most of the ritual. XuYin insisted that they drink the ceremonial wine at least which she poisoned.
Gu Shenghan told her to drink the wine herself so she did but then she lunged at him and kissed him.
Whoa loving this mini-drama already and this episode is less than 8 minutes. The leads have great chemistry and they look gorgeous. Wang Zuyi should be given a male lead role in a full length drama.
Episode 2
This drama is really good.
Anyway, Xuyin kissed Shenghan to transfer the poison from her mouth to him which surprised Gu Shenghan.
Xuyin said that the ritual is complete but not according to Shenghan because he grabbed her back and kissed her returning to her the poison.
I supposed she has an antidote for it.
Anyway, Gu Shenghan was reminded by his guard that Xu Qing Qing had always refused marriage with him but why would she be so enthusiastic about it now? They concluded that they have a fake Qing Qing.
It was a full moon which means that Gu Shenghan’s poison will activate again. Every full moon he turns into a vampiric handsome guy.🤣🤣🤣
He told his guard to leave as he was having an attack. Xuyin wandered into the bathing area of Gu Shenghan. She was going to seduce him because her virgin poison will only work if they have sex.
But she got more than she bargained for. He bit her on the neck but somehow this made him remember the gentle real Xu Yin.
Episode 3
The blood of Xuyin cured Gu Shenghan’s poison.
He wanted to prove that she was Xuyin so he tested her and saw that she was Xuyin when her ear twits when she lied.
Gu Shenghan had a crush on the real Xuyin so he was happy to be married to her but then during the wedding tea ceremony, Xu QingQing’s nursemaid turned up and said that Xuyin is a fake. She is not Xu Qing Qing.
Episode 4
Real assailant of the Anfu Manor.

Xuyin tried to kill him but there were already assassins in place.
Episode 5
Gu Shenghan said that he was more scared that someone beside him was trying to kill him.
PM had not recognised Xiyin as the ake Qing Qing
She drugged him so she could look for the token.
Episode 6
But as it turned out he was not drugged because he asked her what she was looking for. She pretended that was not looking for anything in particular. She was just trying to see if she could help him with his paperwork.
He did not believe her. He asked if she was perhaps looking for the token pass for the Viewing Platform.
She quickly denied knowing what a token pass was for. But she retreated before it got out of hand.
Episode 7
The masked Gu Sheng Han fell for the real Xu Yin three years ago, He was just about to let her see what he looks like but assassins turned up. Xu Yin sacrificed herself for him and got injured. Gu Sheng Han looked after her.
Present time: It was another full moon and Gu Shenghan was turning into a monster. Qingqing told him to calm down but he started to bite on the next but realised what he was doing to he stopped himself and got his dagger out and stabbed himself.
Qingqing was so shocked he pulled the dagger out. Mu Yuexi saw Qingqing holding the dagger and blamed her for trying to murder Gu Shenghan who had fainted.
Episode 8
Qingqing was punished by canning but Gu Shenghan turned up and stopped it.
Qingqing is always at Gu Shengmin’s side. Gu Shenghan was so jealous, he dragged Qingqing back to his room and would have consummated their marriage but he saw the tiger token tattoo on her neck.
Episode 9
The tattoo on her neck confirmed to Gu Shenghan that Qingqing is Xu Yin.
Anyway. Qingqing/Xuyin made a deal with Shenghan. She will treat his lunar syndrome and she was done, he will divorce her.
Episode10
Xu Yin mission was to steal the tiger token from Gu Shenghan and give it to the Prime MInister who would then have control of the Viewing Platform.
It was Xu Yin’s birthday. Xu Yin saw a different side to Gu Shenghan. He was actually emphatic towards the poor.
They were getting on fine when she thought she saw her dead father. She thought it was impossible.
They were then attacked by assassins.
Episode 11
Xu Yin is confused about her feelings. Her mission was to kill Shenghan so she can get the token but she ended up saving him.
Shengmin was able to deduce that Qingqing was really Xuyin the daughter of General Feng.
Shengmin will use Xuyin against Shenghan.
Xuyin searched Shenghan’s study and this time found the key that you unlock the safe for the token.
Episode 12
Xuyin was punished by grandma for behaving inappropriately with her brother in law Shengmin by kowtowing 1,000 times in the ancestral room.
Unfortunately, she did not learn her lesson because she met up with Shengmin and she allowed him to be more familiar with her. 🤣
Shenghan thought so too and commented about it.
BTW, she had found the token.
Shengmin set the ancestral hall on fire from the outside so he could play hero to Xiyin. He did not know that Shenghan was also inside.
Episode 13
Despite Shenghan telling Xiyin that Shengmin started the fire, she refused to believe especially when he told her that he was using her to get to him. She thought Shengmin was really in love with her so it hurt her pride.
Still, she did not give the token to the Prime Minister who had summoned them when he heard that Shenghan was not a cripple.
Episode 14
The real Qingqing is back on the scene.
Shengmin told Xiyin to go with him to Anfu Hall to find out what really happened. Shengmin said that they should go during a full moon so Shenghan won’t follow them.
He did follow and Xiying stabbed him in the chest
Episode 15
To keep Xiyin safe, Shenghan divorced her and then sent her away. She was really reluctant to go but then she saw her father who is alive and explained to her that Shengyan gave him a pill that could simulate death. Shenghan had been protecting them.
Xiyin returned to Shenghan but he gave her a karate chop on the next. When she woke up she was back in the carriage that would take her away.
But she was kidnapped by the Prime Minister and then came face to face with the real Qingqing.
Episode 16
Qing Qing was torturing Xuyin. Shenghan tried to hep Xuyin by being mean to her so she just leave but Xuyin refused to go and told Shenghan that she won’t leave him.
Anyway, Shenghan was forced to marry Qing Qing who seduced him while a tied up and gagged Xuyin hidden in a cupboard could watch them. It is now psychological warfare between the two women.
Episode17
Shenghan gave Qing Qing a karate chop on the neck to make her fall asleep. He then rescued Xuyin from the cupboard.
He told her that she was no value to him anymore that is why he divorced her. In her furty, Xuyin slapped Shenghan and then left to find her father and leave the city together.
But when she found him, her father was already dead. Shengmin turned up and pretended to be surprised. He told her that only Shanghan could do such a dastardly act. She would not believe it at first but Shengmin was so convincing.
Xuyin was convinced that Shenghan was such a wicked man so she went back and drugged QingQing. She then took the place of Qing Qing once again.
Will Shenghan not recognise her?
Episode 18
He did! The moment he saw her he knew. When said that she wanted to see the Lantern Festival with him, he went.
Then she stabbed him which shocked him. But he told her that since she seemed determined never to see him again then she just have to finish him off. He helped her push the dagger deeper into his stomach.
His men arrived but Shenghan told them to leave Qing Qing alone.
Xiyun was shellshocked as well and ended up going to Shenghan’s villa where she insisted on treating his wound.
Episode 19
Xuyin finally found out that Shengmin was a two-faced sod who killed her father.
Episode 20
Shengmin killed Qing Qing and then went to the Prime Minister to tell him that Qing Qing did not accidentally drown in the lake, Shengmin killed him.
Shengmin then said that he was willing to work with the Prime Minister to bring Shanghan down.
Meanwhile, Xuyin was full of revenge against Shengmin. She went to the Prime Minister to tell him that she has always been loyal to him. She was willing to be his mole at the General’s house. So wanted to have a legitimate reason to be there.
The Prime Minister held a banquet for the wedding of his long lost daughter Ying Ying to Shengmin.
Episode 21
It was the wedding of Shengming to YingYing/Xuyin. It turned into a bloodbath.
Shenghan tried to stop the wedding but found the bride was not Xuyin but a fake one. He killed her.
The Prime Minister then turned up with the real bride but Shenghan fought for her.
Shenghan soldiers came bearing an edict from the Emperor absolving General Feng Ming of any treason.
The Prime Minister was killed while Shenghan was heavily injured.
Shengmin took advantage and threw teargas. Strangely, Shenghan, Xiyun and Shenghan’s soldier just stood there waiting to be overcome by the gas.
Episode 22
The gas seemed to have addled the leads’ brains. Xiyun could have easily killed or disadvantaged Shengmin but she was so useless. She could have stabbed him in the neck or eyes with her many hairpins but she stab him in the chest. He just laugh it off as he was wearing a vest.
Anyway, Shengmin got what he wanted.
Shenghan had to comply to everything Shengmin wanted so he would not touch Xiyun he had now married.
Shengmin had Shenghan crippled. Shenghan could not stop Shengmin from forging his writing giving Shengmin control of the Viewing Platform.
Episode 23
What the heck? 😭🤣🤣
Shengmin and Xiyun found out how to make the Tiger Token become visible to the naked eye from Xiyun’s body.
It was through having sex. Shengmin was ready for it Xiyun put him in a prolonged dream. She then went to Shanghan and slept with him.🤣🤣
Shanghan and Xiyun promised each other that when everything is over, they will leave the palace and live an ordinary life somewhere.
Unbeknown to him Xiyun drugged Shanghan and send him to a dreamland as well. She hopes that when he wakes up everything is sorted.
Xiyun made the sleeping Shanghan swallow some of her blood which has the antidote to his poison.
Episode 24
It is a happy ending but I have to admit that despite this episode being a short one, I had to pause it because it was rather disturbing.
Shengmin was awake again. Meanwhile, Xiyun was her stupid self. She showed him her Tiger Token now visible on her upper chest. Because in his dream they were very intimate, he assumed it was him who had sex with her but she told him that it was only in his dream.
It was Shengham she slept it. Being a deranged woman, she took a dagger and carved out the token off her skin, and gave it to Shengmin.
He willingly took the skin but the mark from the skin he was holding disappeared. She then explained that the token had to remain in her body.
A revitalised Shanghan turned up and after fighting, he gained control of the mansion and the soldiers.
His soldier killed Shangmin who was about to attack Shanghan.
Xiyun ended up in a coma.
Shanghan took her to a quiet cottage where they stayed. He nursed her.
At last, she woke up.
And they lived happily ever after.
