Xiaochun and Ling Chen are getting closer but before they can get together, Ling Chen dumped her or told her that he will not have so much time hanging around because he will have a close practise during the holiday. It was because Manman warned him that Xiaochun was always gallivanting she won’t be able to take part at the Year-end presentation.
The students were surprised when Ms Yu announced that the cast selection for Swan Lake was opened to everyone.
Xiaochun tried out for the main role and dance the white swan. I am to admit, Ding Yi Yi looked so charismatic as a ballet dancer.
Anyway, everyone was impressed even Ms Yu.
Episode 9
As both Xiaochun and Manman competed for Swan Lake, it was decided that there should both participate as Xioachun being the White Swan and Manman as the Black Swan.
Episode 10
The end of term show of the Black Swan was a success but ended up with Manman breaking her ankle.
Episode 11
It was the summer holiday. Ling Chen is practically alone in the school as the students have gone home for the summer. Manman who usually stay at school to practise was of course recuperating in the hospital.
Ling Chen remembered that Xiaochun invited him to her village so without any hesitation, he sneaked into the faculty room to look for Xiaochun’s home address.
He was caught by Teacher Lin Shi An, who was not annoyed at all. Instead, he encouraged him to go as Ling Chen’s mother was away on a business trip. Seize the day and have fun.
He did have fun and enjoyed meeting Xiaochun’s parents.
He had a heart to heart talk with Xiaochun’s father who he assured that he cherishes Xiaochun. The father asked Ling Chen to look after Xiaochun at school.
Ling Chen was very emphatic that he would.
At a very scenic river, he goaded Xiaochun to be more proactive just like the women of her village. So Xiaochun told him that she like him and gave him a peck on his cheek. He was taken aback but she told him that he could kiss her back and he did.
He then confessed that he actually liked her for a long, he liked her first before she liked him.
Back at uni, Ling Chen could not wait to announce that he was official wth Xiaochun.

Episode 15
Panpan’s mother was attacked by drunk customers in their restaurant. She needed surgery but the family did not have the money.
Fortunately, Xiaochun and Ling Chen found out and offered their savings.

Poor Manman completely ruptured her achilles tendon which meant her ballet dancing might be over.
Both Manman and her mother were heartbroken.
Manman’s mother blames Teacher Yu for pushing her daughter too hard but Manman was secretly taking too many types of drugs to relieve her aches and pains.
Episode 20
Xiaochun replaced Manman in the international competition. Teacher Xu was not happy with it as Xiaochun had only 24 hours to practice for the first trial.
Manman gave Xiaochun her blessing.
Episode 21
The medical specialists confirmed that Manman will never dance ballet again as her ligament had deteriorated so much.
Xiaochun passed the first trial.
Teacher Xu decided to resign after getting so much negative comments online to the way she teaches.
Teacher Xu told Ling Chen that she will be going to San Francisco to teach dance, she had had a long running invitation from the school.
She told Ling Chen to go with her but this time he can decide for himself, she was not going to force him.
Teacher Lin who had a bit of crush of Teacher Xu was rather upset that she resigned and not leaving for abroad.
Xiaochun came tenth on the second round. The first was a very strong contender from San Francisco.
This gave Ling Chen food for thought about the San Francisco school of dance.
Episode 22
Xiaochun and Ling Chen were not in a good place. Ling Chen told Xiaochun that he does not want to break up and even if he goes to San Francisco, it would only be for four years.
Xiaochun refused to say that she would wait for him.
Her problem with Ling Chen was after her dance. Xiaochun was having problem with the choreography of her dance for the finals. She told Teacher Lin that she was not feeling the rhythm.
Manman had been tagging along with XiaoBo. She found out that she likes and was quite good at shooting commercial but dancing was her fashion.
Manman was very depressed especially when she overheard her parents fighting.
It was the night of XiaoBo’s introductory concert but he was worrying over Manman. And he should because Manman was on top of the building feeling isolated and so sorry for herself. The students below could see her sitting precariously on the edge of the roof. They shouted for her to go back to safety but Manman was thinking if it was better for her to disappear.
Episode 23
Xiaobo left the music festival without performing to go to Manman.
Manman was thankful to him but told him that she had to leave to be by herself to sort herself out.
What happened to Manman woke Xiaochun up. She realised that what Manman was suffering was way too deep compared to her gripes of an LDR with Ling Chen so she made up with him. She agreed to wait four years for him.
Episode 24
It was the day of the 30th International Collegiate Ballet competition. Xiaochun was happy to came fourth after not expecting to get through because she had a wobble. She was suddenly afflicted with a common ballet dancer complications. She suddenly can’t dance because she was so tense but her friends help her.
Also, Ling Chen opted to stay in China while his mother left for San Francisco.
