Episode 1
Li Chu Yue is a 22 year-old who just graduated from university. What she wanted most in life was to become a full-fledge fashion designer.
She seemed quite good at it as she even won a competition where her prize of all things, was a meteorite.
Unbeknown to her, the meteorite is some sort of a key or doorway to another timeline or a parallel universe. It also function as a walkie talkie because as she was singing the Chinese version, I think, of Justin Beiber’s Baby, ‘baby, Baby, oh! An Jing Zhao of ancient Chinese timeline could here her caterwauling.
An Jing Zhao and his bodyguard thought the unfamiliar Baby, baby baby meant something else and they assumed that she was a witch being used by the enemy.
An Jing Zhao was sleeping when all of a sudden a black cloth fell on his face. It so happened Chu Yue was missing her black vest.
Anyway, the next day, Chu Yue was asleep after dong overtime when it began to thunder and lightning.
All of a sudden, she was falling and falling on top of An Jing Zhao. At first Chuyue thought she dreaming but then An JIng Zhao who heard the commotion came to the bedroom and pointed his sword on Chu Yue who tired to push it away but got her finger bleeding.
She realised for sure that she was not dreaming.
Episode 2
An Jing Zhao took Chuyue for a picnic but under a strict instructions that she had to pretend that she was in love with him.
He was really using her as a decoy to smoke out the stalker assassin.
Anyway, she had to pay a forfeit as she lost in the game of hide and seek. He gave her a very tender, light kiss on the forehead.
She was so desperate to get away, she runaway when she had a chance but An Jing Zhao ended up saving her from ninja assassins.
Every opportunity though, An JIng Zhao would ask her to hold on to him. Being a modern girl, she had no problem hugging him without question.
Episode 3
An Jing Zhao told Chuyue to hold the fort and to not let anyone in the room. No one must find out that he was not in the room.
Chuyue said that task was easy. But then Yuan Shu, the spy was persistent. It was good that Jing Zhao returned at the most opportune moment.
Poor Chuyue was subjected to many assassination attacks. Jing Zhao finally ascertained that she was not working for Zhou Wei.
Zhou Wei was targetting Jing Zhao to get to Li Qing.
Jing Zhao sneaked in a doctor to see his ailing father. The doctor, Dr Luo said that An Cheng Hu was poisoned by a mind control herb.
Zhou Wei had been controlling An Cheng Hu, Jing Zhao’s father.
Jing Zhao and Chuyue entered a secret chamber followed by Zhou Wei and his men.
Jing Zhao however was prepared for it and found out what he wanted to confirm of Zhou Wei’s dartadly act.
It was Grandma An’s birthday. She wanted to meet the hussy who had ensnare her favourite grandson. Jing Zhao.
When she met Chuyue, she liked her immediately especially when Bai Zhi also turned up.
Bai Zhi is Zhou Wei’s adopted daughter.
Episode 4
Zhou Wei proposed that Jing Zhao should marry Bai Zhi. As An Cheng Hu was under mind control by Zhou Wei. An Cheng Hu agreed to the proposal.
But then, Jing Zhao said that he can’t possibly marry Bai Zhi as he was already engaged to Han Wanqing since childhood.
Han Wanqing had been missing for ten years but now she was found and Jing Zhao raised Chu Yue’s hand. To prove it, he asked his grandma to confirm the mark on the missing Han Wanqing in her arm.
Grandma who previously noticed the Pikachu tattoo on Chuyue’s arm, quickly describe the tattoo. Chuyue could not help smirking how grandma and grandson are so complicit.
When Zhou Wei asked for more evidence aside from a mark, Grandma threatened to kill herself when An Cheng Hu seemed to side with Zhou Wei. So An Cheng Hu apologised for not being filial.
