Episode 1
The first episode is very promising.
Park Joon Mo is still fairly lowdown in the rank department as a police officer. Often times his wife’s family would sniggered and look down on him. It was hard for him to live down that his father was a convicted drug addict.
Anyway, he is quite good at his job, well in fighting anyway. One day, another police officer went to see him an offer him a job, a mission.
This was to infiltrate a drug runner, Jung Ki Cheol, who is a charismatic and up and coming drug kingpin.
Park Joon Mo knew how dangerous and grueling the mission entails so he said he would do it provided his condition is met.
His condition was that when the mission is over, he will return two ranks higher that his current one.
This was agreed so, he went to meet Jung Ki Cheol. Park Joon Mo pretended that he was the cousin of Jung Ki Cheol’s right hand man who had just died.
Episode 2
Park Joon Mo fought himself into becoming a member of Jung Ki Cheol’s gang as Seongho.
Jung Ki Cheol severed his connection with the drug lord because he authorised beating of Jung Ki Cheol’s men.
Yoo Eun Jung was worried about her husband so she went to find him.
Park Joon Mo was barely able to confess to her that he was working undercover when Jung Ki Cheol turned up.
It turned out that Jung Ki Cheol has a bit of a history with Yoo Eun Jung.
Episode 3
Park Joon Mo was jealous of his wife past with Jung Ki Cheol, who was still in love with her.
A few times, Joon Mo was almost rambled. His last test before Jung Ki Cheol completely trust him was for Seongho/Joon Mo to kill a guy who had been interfering with their business.
Episode 4
Seongho was being forced to shoot a guy. He missed the first time. They were goading him that he purposely missed it. They asked him to try it again and this time he must not miss. Seongho just can’t do it.
The guy took the chance to run away but one of Jung Ki Cheol’s men shoot the guy dead.
Whoa, the love triangle developing between Seongho, Ki Cheol and Eun Jung is getting really complicated.
It got more heartbreaking when Eunjung’s mother who doted on Park Joon Mo (Seongho) died. It became hairy when Jung Ki Cheol brought him to attend the funeral. Seongho had to make excuses.
Eunjung understood though.
Anyway, Seongho and Jung Ki Cheol are bonding more. Seongho asked Jung Ji Cheol to take him to one of his regular ‘fishing’ trips.
As one of the two assistants of Jung Ki Cheol dropped out of the fishing trip, he took Seongho with him but they got ambushed on the way,.
Episode 5
Seongho almost died during the ambushed which turned into a ramble.
Jung Ki Cheol took him to the hospital and stayed with him throughout until Seongho woke up. Jung Ki Cheol was so grateful to Seongho for saving his life once again.
Now after five minutes of Seongho balancing between life and death, he was up on his feet again🤣🤣🤣. The power of recuperation is Kdrama is really awesome. Anyway, Jung Ki Cheol had a full investigation of who squealed about the fishing trip. He said that that someone was one of them because Ki Cheol always vary his travel plan to go fishing. Only someone in the know who is aware of it.
They eventually found the culprit and had been beaten to death but Ki Cheol told him to get out and never show his face again.
Eunjung was worried about Park Joon Mo so she again allowed herself to be used by the special agents to get close to Ki Cheol.
She said that she was only doing it to protect her husband but then she was getting too close to Ki Cheol for comfort.
Has that childhood first love being rekindled? As she mentioned previously, Ki Cheol had gotten handsomer.😉
