I saw a trailer on Youtube and it is so cute. The two young leads are gorgeous.
I am more than half-way the film and I am absolutely loving it. I can totally recommend this film.
It has superpower, lots of cute romance and gorgeous leads.
The story is about superpowers held by various clans who were at one point were related to the Emperor.
The families are good samurais and those who eventually die pass their essence to the next generation.
Those with powers were called Sundanese.
Anyway, Miyo belongs to the Saimori family. She was only two years old when her dear mother passed away. Immediately her father married his lover and had a daughter called Kaya.
Kaya became a sundan at a young age while Miyo did not have any power.
As such, she was treated like Cinderella by her cruel stepmother and half-sister. Her father was no better either.
Now that she was 19, Miyo was quickly betrothed to Kudo Kiyoka who has a reputation of being cruel.
Miyo’s stepmother and half-sister could not wait to throw her out of the house. They expected her to be dead within days just like the other wives of Kudo.
Miyo could not wait to get out of her family house and pragmatic enough that if she dies like the other wives of Kudo then it meant she will be with her mother sooner.
She travelled to Kudo’s house. When she met him, he told her that he requires absolute obidience from her. If he wanted her to go away, she must go away, if he wanted her to die, she must die.
Miyo agreed to his order. But somehow, Kudo did not really like that she was so subservient.
The next morning, she woke up very, very early and was already making breakfast before Yuri’er, the trusted and beloved housekeeper of Kudo even got up.
Yuri’er was rather impressed about Miyo because she was so different from the previous brides to be of Kudo.
