Episode 1
Three months ago, Xu Si left a very successful and lucrative job in Hong Kong for Shanghai. His mission was to meet up with Free Unicorn Group.
Instead of being feted, he was made to wait and then to add insult to injury, the heiress of Free Unicorn came sashaying by. Thinking that he was her father’s new assistant, she gave him 20rmb and a note saying to get her the hamburger set but no ice.
Finally Xusi’s patience run out and him with it.
The first episode is hectic, lots of characters introduced already, some are cute and some are downright nasty.
The heiress of Free Unicorn Group, Jiang Hu, is a spoilt girl but she does work hard and knows what she was doing.
She led the 30th anniversary of Free Unicorn Group in its subsidiary Teng Yue compound where she invited the 50 most popular livestreamers. She also invited an illustrator who literally just arrived from UK after graduating from Leeds University.
The girl was Xiang Zhao Yang, who likes to appear in public wearing a mask so not to compromise the company she really works for.
Unbeknown to the girl, Jiang Hu arranged with the most popular livestreamer to create a havoc with Zhao Yang as being the object of her tirade. The girl unmasked Zhao Yang and then slap her. This scandal was uploaded immediately and trended.
It created such a buzz, the orders came pouring in.
Jiang Hu was satisfied with the result but she did scold the livestreamer for going to the extreme of slapping Zhao Yang.
Meanwhile, Zhao Yang went home downhearted. She only got more stressed when she received a call from her company firing her.
