Episode 1
The first episode is cute. The lead girl is adorable.
Anyway, Liao Yun Cheng was very upset when Tong Nian just broke up with him without really giving him a valid reason.
Tong Nian told him that they were more suited as friends which only made Liao Yun Cheng more upset and so he agreed to break up and hope never to see each other again.
A few years later, Tong Nian was to present a project for their company to a CEO, who happens to be Liao Yun Cheng who was still smarting from their break-up.
Episode 2
Tong Nian’s company was being reviewed by Liao Yun Cheng. Tong Nian was tasked to represent the company during the short test.
Yun Cheng treated her like when they were still together and force-feeding her answers when he learned that she was not really au-fait with the project.
Later on, Boyang, his assistant wanted to know why Yucheng bothers with the girl who dumped him.
Yu Cheng can’t really get over Tong Nian so instigated that they have a one-on-one Q&A with Tong Nian. Yu Cheng found that Tong Nian is still single and has no plan of getting married that year. But the question of their break-up, he was still unclear.
Episode 3
Yu Cheng was shocked to find out that Tong Nian’s mother had throat cancer. He commented that Tong Nian must have been so upset but assured her that everything going to change as he was back.
Yu Cheng started treating her as his girl friend which the clueless Tong Nian still does not realise.
Episode 4
This drama is really cute so far.
Dong Qiu Fen is a livestreamer and best friend to Tong Nian. She made Tong Nian realised that Yu Cheng was really hitting on her. She predicted that when Yu Cheng returns from his business trip, he will give her a present.
Yu Cheng told her to fetch him at the airport the next day. He presented her with a gift.
Episode 5
Lu Cheng was stalking Tong Nian. He frequents her work place. He even found her online through Dong Qiu Fen’s livestream.
He then sort of blackmail Qiu Fen to introduce him to Tong Nian so he would buy the products that Qiu Fen were endorsing.
Qiu Fen managed to convince Tong Nian to communicate with the fan who they did not know was Lu Cheng.
Episode 6
Tong Nian learned that Yucheng met an accident. She raced to the hospital to see him but who she was Pei Ruilin who told her that she was Yucheng’s fiancee.
Poor Tong Nian was gutted. She then heard that ther company had been taken over.
Episode 7
Tong Nian collapsed on a bench because of the stress which triggered her stomach problem. She then started hallucinating that Yucheng was in front of her. She told him that she regrets the past and wanted to get back together again.
She then remembered their time together in the past. She was the one who pursued him and when they started dating she felt that he took her for granted. Making her wait for him time and again while he was engrossed with his experiment.
Then she overheard him with his teacher talking about Yucheng going to study at Columbia University.
Tong Nian was upset that he had not mention this to her.
Epospde 8
Yucheng warned Pei Ruilin not to create a misunderstanding between him and Tong Nian. He reminded her that she was just his Private Assistant.
Episode 9
Pei Ruilin ignored the warning and made it appear that she had the backing of Yucheng in everything she does, including asking for Yucheng’s car keys back.
The boss announced that their company had been acquired by Yucheng’s company. He said that the employees could stay or leave.
Tong Nian opted to terminate her employment as she could not bare to work under Yucheng and his fiancee.
