Jin Yi Soo is turning into a very intuitive and capable detective that Lee Kang Hyun was forced to admit.
The case in this episode was a model found dead on a yacth. Yi Soo was able to puzzle out the case as he was au fait with the heirarchy within a conglomorate family.
It turned out that the model was an illegitimate daughter of the dying chairman. The first wife ordered the death of the girl.
There was a very poignant scene between Yi Soo and his half brother, Jin Seung Joo. He asked Seung Joo if he was very upset when Yi Soo first turned up.
Seung Joo said that he was but then he saw how his mother was raging against the poor defenceless Yi Soo. It made him realised that Yi Soo was an innocent party of what was going on.
Yi Soo was very moved and told his brother that without him, he would have been totally screwed up.
Seung Joo just laughed companionly.
The next case was a painter who especialises in macabre painting. The artist invited Yi Soo to the VIP opening of this exhibition. The visitors were left screaming as the artist bled to death from a stab wound.

Episode 9
Jin Yi Soo visited the psychiatrist in prison. The psychiatrist offered to bring back his memory, Yi Soo then remembered that his mother commited suicide.
He confronted his father who told him that he had to ask the psychiatrist to erase Jin Yi Soo’s memory because he was to young to handle his mother’s death.
The next case for the time was a death of an actress, Yura, in a filming location. The suspect was CEO Kim Young Hwan but then it turned out the he was only a figure head of Gold Pictures because the real CEO was Jin Yi Soo himself.
Yi Soo vouched for Kim Young Hwan’s innocence.
