Episode 1
Whoa, watching this in wintry London, I felt the cold in Finland, the snow is so dramtically freezing.🤣 Good cinematography, very atmospheric.
I must say there is a lot of chemistry between Wu Lei and Jin Mai.
Lin Yiyang and Yin Gou first met at the Red Fish pub. It took 3 seconds for Lin Yi Yang to fall in love with Yin Guo who was by the window on the phone to find a hotel.
Yin Guo and her brother were newly arrived in Finland so were still trying to find their way around.
Lin Yi Yang was very helpful, sending them by taxi to the hotel they managed to book.
Yin Guo tried to transfer money for the fare and the cost of drinks but Yi Yang refused the transfer.
Anyway, her brother /couin said that they should take Yi Yang to dinner.
Yi Yang, however, had left to go back to university.
The brother booked two tickets to follow Yi Yang but when they got there they found out the Yi Yang went back to Hel.
Episode 2
Despite being pushed for time, Yi Yang played tourist guide to Yin Guo and her cousin. But alas he had to leave.
The next time Yin Guo met Yi Yang again was at the billiard room when she was taken by her friend to the place.
Yiyang played and won. That moment, Yin Guo saw Yiyang in a different light. Her friend noticed too that she was a third wheel so she left Yin Guo to Yiyang so they could be alone.
Yiyang and Yin Guo were falling in love. Whoa the chemistry is smoking in spite of the backdrop of falling snow.
Yin Guo told him that she had signed for the Nine Ball Open. She also gave Yi Yang more information why she and her cousin were in Finland. She said that they were on a semestral break and as her cousin applied to a university in Finland, they came so her cousin could get used to the environment.
Yiyang, despite virtually penniless, made sure that Yin Guo gets fed.
I have to admit that I am finding his stares daunting, unnerving rather than romantic. He is too full on.
By this episode it comes out like Amidst a Snowstorm of Love is a modern day retelling of Little Red Riding Hood. The predatory wolf gobbling his prey.🤣🤣🤣
Probably this is the reason why I am finding it hard to go to the next episode. Strange. I will definetely continue tomorrow.
Episode 3
Wu Wei met Yi Yang and Yin Guo at the restaurant where they had seafood ramen. Wu Wei was excited to find out tht Yin Guo entered the Nine Ball Open as he was also on the list. He mentioned that there will be two vacant rooms at their apartment building and encouraged Yin Guo to consider it at it is a prime location since she will be staying in Finland for at least three months for the Open.
Later on, Yin Guo tried to convince her cousin to consider renting rather that staying in hotels.
Yi Yang was feeling maudlin as it was really his 27th birthday but no one to celebrate it with except texting Yin Guo.
The next day, Yi Yang was woken up by chattering in the living room. Jiang Yang had brought some of the members of their billiard club to visit Yi Yang.
Yiyang told them to omit the honorific as he’s no longer a member of the club.
He then left them followed by Jiang Yang.
Wu Wei who was left with the kids told them that Yi Yang and Jiang Yang were protegee of Master He.
Seriously at this point, everything is so slow so it is on the boring side. You can actually watch it on your laptop while you can tweet or do Facebook on your mobile.🤣
