It is quite an intriguing film. Well made little piece.
Minako woke up by the beach littered with everything;it looks like a disaster had happened. She got up and started looking for her son. She met some rescue workers but they blatantly ignored her despite her plea for help.
She went to the rescue centre and again she was treated like she did not exist.
She noticed that when she actually touched someone, everyone in the centre suddenly disappeared.
She run outside all confused. She was then picked up by Akira, who invited her to go with him to meet others like them.
Minako met several people in the camp who seemed to be happy together. But then she was told that she was as dead as all of them.
Some of them had been in the camp for several years. They can’t move on because they have some lingering regrets or unfinished business.
Minako was shocked but started to believe what she was told. She said that she was worried about her seven-year-old son. They thought that this was what keeping her in the camp.
They then told Minako that every month, all the dead spirits converged together in a parade. Some of them would find what they were looking for, thus, they can move on.
It is a very intriguing story. I was riveted.
