Episode 1
This is just the drama for the weekend. It is kind of gentle and yet not really!🤣🤣🤣
Anyway, Cha Yoon Hee took her time getting married because she wanted to find her deal man, a man with no parents or at least no close parental ties. If she can’t find this ideal then she would rther not get married.
She found Terry Kang, a Korean American whose parents were in America. They adopted him when he was 5 and took him back to America where he eventually graduated from John Hopkins University.
He returned to Korea as a doctor and met Cha Yoon Hee.
Cha Yoon Hee is a feisty woman to the point of being aggresive, who questions everything and would take advantage of any loophole.
Cha Yoon Hee and Terry lived with her family but decided to move to their own place. Unfortunately, their money who she asked her money to hold was given to her brother to invest in Japanese bugs.
Cha Yoon Hee knew that the money was lost but they needed a place of their own so instead of nice modern apartment, they opted for a more affordable place which happened to in the building owned by Bang Jang Soo.
Bang Jang Soo and Uhm Chung Ae lost their five years old son many years ago.
Uhm Chung Ae was in the market with little Bang Gwi Nam when she went into labour so she was put in a taxi immediately while a market vendor promised to take Bang Gwi Nam home.
But the woman got distracted and Bang Gwi Nam went running to the popcorn maker and got lost.
The family matriarch could not get over the loss of her eldest grandson so she banned birthday celebration for Bang Yi Sook who was born on the day that Bang Gwi Nam went missing.
Episode 2
Terry and Yoon Hee moved in to the apartment. They were welcomed warmly by Uhm Chung Ae but Yoon Hee was not receptive to the friendship shown her. She said that she feels uncomfortable when Uhn Chung Aae invited them to eat at her house with the family when she learned that Yoo Hee ordered a Chinese takeout.
Anyway, the three sisters, Il Sook, Mal Sook and Yi Sook had a movie night. But it ended in tears for Il Sook when she accidentally found out that her devoted husband was cheating on her.
Terry remembered the advice of his adoptive father to look for his biological parents while in Korea. It so happened that Uhn Chung Ae had registered her DNA in 2006.
Uhn Chung Ae got a call from the police advising her that someone had turned up as her missing son.
Though Chung Ae was excited, she controlled herself from really bonding with the stranger as the police said that it would take a month to complete the DNA checking and procedure. It turned out that Chung Ae had an experience of so-called long lost son only to be let down so she does not want to keep her hope up.
