Episode 1

I love the first episode.  Action and comedy are a winning combination; such a feel good factor.

Lee Je Hoon had done it again.  He has such a contagious laugh that I was laughing with him and yet I was not sure why I should be laughing.🤣🤣🤣

It started with Park Young Han as an old man wistfully watching young policemen running to their cars for a mission.

This then made him reminisced the good old day.

He was policeman in a village where the main villains are cownappers.  Park Young Han is very straight forward, uncorrupt police. If you did bad you pay for it, that is his motto. He always gets his man and his success gets highly publicised until it reached nationwide.

So he was transferred to Seoul and was determined to rid the Capital its corruption.

Unfortunately, he found out that corruption starts at the very place he had been assigned.  The chief was on the take.

Park Young Han was not having it and found a like minded guy who also wants to try to rid the public service of policing free from corruption.  The guy was his line manager, Yoo Dae Cheon, the Investigation Team 1 Leader.  He told Park Young Han that they will be a team of two.  But there was a third one who was all brawn.  He was Kim Sang Soon who was not scared to beat up gangs.

Anyway, Park Young Han found out that the other police from another team were dealing with PX Goods from American soldiers.  So he and Kim Sang Soon decided to do a raid.

But the episode ended with Kim Sang Soon hitting Park Young Han on the head who collapsed on the ground.

Exciting stuff.

Episode 2

Really enjoying this drama.

Anyway, Sang Soon did hit Park Young Han in the head to leave him cold on the ground to save him because Sang Soon noticed the American soldier pointing his gun at Park Young Han.

Sang Soon pretended to join the corrupt police but they did not buy it so he ended up collapsed on the ground as well.

When he woke up with Park Young Han, they found that they had been dumped in some secluded area.

But they had the last laugh because they put a note to the people in the area that some PX goods in a warehouse were there and free for anyone to take.  Not long after, people gathered at the warehouse and taking anything the could.

The corrupt police were raging at Park Young Han and Sangsoon who did not care less.  They said that they had to do it for the reputation of the police but if the corrupt police would really like to pick a bone about it they they will notify the Americans and the corrupt police would really be in trouble for theft.

Anyway, Team 1 had really only Park Young Han and his chief, Yoo Dae Cheon.  So they recruited more police.  Sangsoon officially became a member, and also a very promising Cho Kyung Hwan, who was build like a fridge and fight like a pro.

There was also another newbie, Seo Ho Jeong, who is a graduate of one of Korea’s prestigious universities.  But even as a young boy, he wanted to become a policeman just like his idol, the legendary ranger, Frank Hamer, the one who caught Bonnie and Clyde.

So against his posh parents’ wishes he applied to become a policeman.  But then he was affiliated to Team 2 and was treated like a lackey rather than a full member of the police.

Park Young Han saw a potential on Seo Ho Jeong so he recruited him to join Team 1 instead.

There was a potential love triangle brewing.  Park Young Han met a bookstore clerk who Seo Ho Jeong fancied.

Can’t wait for the next episode, which I am sure will be full of action and jollity.  Just hope the romance bit is lowdown.
