Episode 1
Whoa, Miles Wei is really gorgeous as a company executive. Loving his aura.
Anyway, 27 years old Tu Xiao Ning was not having the best of time. First her seven year relationship with Lu Si Jing came to nought when he did not turn up on her birthday party where he promised to proposed to her. She was so embarrassed because all their friends were there to witness the event. Instead, Lu Si Jing texted that he had decided to stay aboard for further study. He is a doctor.
Then, the promotion that she was expecting from a reception job at Durui Bank did not materialise as the promotion was given to someone else less able and less experience than her but has a good family connection. Instead, Tu Xiao Ning was transferred to the Development Department which is ruled by the so-called Bullet of Durui Bank. The bullet was Rao Jing who ignored the resignation that Tu Xiao Ning presented to her.
Meanwhile, as Lu Si Jing was imminently expected to return to China, Tu Xiao Ning went on a mega-blinddate. She met all sorts of guys which she thought were all unsuitable until Ji Yu Heng turned up.
Ji Hu Yeng was her schoolmate in high school who she thought was special and too well qualified for the likes of her.
What she did not know was that Ji Yu Heng was already interested in her even in high school. BTW, it turned out that Ji Yu Heng also works at Durui Bank in a high executive level dealing with anti-money laundering at the Compliance Department.
They met again during the pre-wedding party of their mutual friends, Fang Xiao and Zhou Wei.
Lu Si Jing also turned up at the party and made a point of trying to apologise to Xiao Ning and intent of starting all over again with her. He would not take no for an answer at first but Xiao Ning was resolute in turning hm down. Ji Yu Heng came to the rescue.
Later on, he drove Xiao Ning home. She told him what happened a year ago between her and Si Jing. She said she could not go back.
Ji Yu Heng declared that it looks like she wanted a stable marriage so why not consider him. Marry him.
Aww. so cute.
Episode 2
Tu Xiao Ning inadvertently got herself involved in a fraudulent transaction with her line manager. Ji Yu Heng advised her to build her defence based on the company rules. Tu Xiao Ning managed to extricated herself from the situation.
She is now working as assisent to Rao Jing who told her to go to the hospital to deliver flowers to their important client who was injured.
Xiao Ning saw Yu Heng in the hospital. She followed him and found him with an older woman who turned out to be his mother.
When Mother Ji heard Xiao Ning’s name, she was so happy to finally meet her son’s girlfriend. Xiao Ning was shocked at first but she played along. Yu Heng was really grateful to her. He told her that his mother has breast cancer and it was late stage.
Xiao Ning finally agreed to the marriage proposal by Yu Heng. And she was not a girl who was made for waiting because she said that they should register their marriage the next day.
Episode 3
Xiao Ning and Yu Heng had to convince Mother Tu and Father Tu that they are serious about getting married.
Yu Heng said that he had known Xiao Ning for ten years, since high school days. He confessed that he had always had a crush on Xiao Ning.
This convinced the parents and gave them their blessing.
The next day, Xiao Ning and Yu Heng went to the registry office. It was already late afternoon so they did not have enough time to take a photo together and complete the certification. So they had to postpome the registration but when they went back at Xiao Ning’s house, her relatives were there to congratulate her parents. So Xiao Ning and Yu Heng pretended that they were already married.
As such, her parents encouraged her to move in with Yu Heng immediately.
Episode 4
The President of Darui Bank had assigned Yu Heng to become the new manager of the Development Department as it was in disarray.
Xiaoning was not very happy to see him her department and so unhappy that she even proposed to break up.
Yu Heng patiently explained the reason of his transfer. Finally, she understood and gave him her full support.
They were learning to live together. She was happy that he likes shopping with her and he was not very particular with the household items that they buy.

Tang Yu Hui revealed that Mr Yang has a police record so he was not suitable as an investment client of Dairui Bank. Mr Yang was Tu Xiaoning’s client.
Episode 18
Zhao Fang Gang realised that he had fallen in love with Rao Jing.
Meanwhile, Tu Xiaoning went into a mini-depression when the first account she was to be in charge with was cancelled.
To rub salt to injury, Tang Yu Hui was now made a manager and was complimented for her beauty and intelligence.
Qi Yu passed his exam and Ling Wei Yi was so happy for him.
Ji Yu Heng’s mother was hospitalised. The prognosis was not good. She has only a month or two to live.
Ji Yu Heng found it unbearable to visit his mother so it was Xiaoning and her mother who have been visiting Mrs Ji.
Zhao Fang Gang tried to give an account to Xiaoning to manage but she turned it down because she said she has a relative who was very ill and she wanted to look after her.
Finally, Xiaoning confronted Ji Yu Heng for not visiting his mother. She told him that he had to face up to the fact that Mrs Ji was very ill.
Ji Yu Heng said that she has no right to talk because she turned down an account because she had lost confidence.
This was the first time the two lovebirds had a fight.
Episode 19
The team visited Yu Heng’s mother in the hospital. They almost found out that Yu Heng and Xiaoning were in a relationship. Fortunately, Mrs Ji cottoned on and pretended that she hardly knew Xiaoning.
Episode 20
Yu Heng and his mother had a heart to heart and brought everything out in the open. They finally made up.
Episode 21
Yu Heng was away on a business trip and Xiaoning visited Mrs Ji all the time. Shockingly, Mrs Ji died.
Xiaoning felt so guilty as if it was her fault that Mrs Ji died.

Tang Yu Hui was gutted to find that Yu Heng secretly brought Xiaoning to their business trip.
Episode 25
Ruo Jing and Zhao Fang Gang are now secretly dating. Ruo Jing learned that she was pregnant during a team building away days.
The team building happens to be during Xiaoning’s birthday so she was given a special party. Tang Yu Hui made a point to confess her love for Yu Heng by a song which made everyone uncomfortable.
Episode 26
Tang Yu Hui love confession rather shocked the team. She had a heart to heart with Yu Heng who told her that he had never thought of her in any way romantic. He added that he had loved Xiaoning at first sight in highschool.
Yu Hui realised that she has no chance with Yu Heng at all so she gave up and resigned. She said that she really loved him and that she would not put him in any danger so she will not tell anyone that he was dating Xiaoning.
Fang Gang depended Rao Jing from Mr Xing’s wife who suspected her as her husband’s mistress. Fang Gang said that Rao Jing was too upright to even give a married man a second look. He then added that Rao Jing is his girlfriend.
Episode 27
Finally, Rao Jing told Fang Gang that she was pregnant. He was so overcome with emotion, he cried and give her all his credit and debit cards and promised to add her name to his house deed.
They got married but because of their relationship, Fang Gang decided to resign.
I must say, I find Xiaoning rather too depressing. She was always sad with her face screwed up in worry even when there was nothing to worry about.
Mr Qing thinking that Yu Heng was the one who revealed that he was having an affair, spread the rumours that Yu Heng was dating Xiaoning.
Xiaoning prepared to resign but Yu Heng resigned first so she has got to stay. She was so unhappy at first because she thought he was sacrificing his career for her but he assured her that he will go to a better place.

Episode 32
This drama is too overlong. It would have been more interesting if it was compacted to 24 episodes.
Anyway, the three couples have their conclusions.
Yu Heng and Xioaning were married happily.
Rao Jing and Fang Gang are getting along well. Fang Gang was happy to be in a big extended family, being an orphan and Fang Gang told her that whatever she says will always be the law. But somehow, she seemed to have the longest pregnancy ever.
As to Qi Yu and Wei Yi, there broke up because Qi Yu is to authoritarian and selfish. He refuses to compromise. Thank goodness, Wei Yi realised it before they got married, because they were really a divorce waiting to happen couple.
