Episode 1
I am really fond of Amy Sun so I am watching this drama.
I must say the first episode is very entertaining.
Anyway, her character Ling Ruo Jin from the modern times was watching a television drama where an ugly doctor was to be married to a prince. Ling was dismissive of the drama because the doctor was allowing herself to be bullied for being ugly for having a large mark on her cheek. She was enduring everything because she wanted to marry Prince Chu.
Prince Chu the groom was hating the ugly Ling Ruo Jin for insisting on marrying him.
Anyway, modern Ling Ruo Jin was really annoyed with the drama which she was watching on her mobile phone. Suddenly, the drama cut off and then she somehow transmigrated within the drama itself.
She is now the ugly girl but a feisty ugly girl. She used her medical knowledge to self diagnose and realised that the large mark on her face was from poison.
It was the day of the wedding, she went to the ceremony. Prince Chu had a rooster by proxy. Ling Ruo Jin complained that the wedding is a farce and an insult to the Emperor who issued the marriage edict.
Because of this, Prince Chu turned up an married Ling Ruo Jin who now told him that it was easier to get married to comply with the Emperor’s edict and then divorce later on.
Prince Chu said they will divorce and Ling Roo Jin was in total agreement.
The next morning, Ling Ruo Jin was bullied by the concubine.
