Episode 1

I love the first episode.  Shirota Yu as Ando Hajime is gorgeous.

Anyway, Koshiba Mao had been dating an office colleague fro three years.  They even usually live together.  But their relationship had remained a secret to everyone.

Lately, her boyfriend, Tadaka Kota, wanted some space.

But then during an office dinner party, Koshiba Mao was told by a colleague that Kota was dating the office beauty, Azuma Mika.  Mao was shocked.  She decided not to say anything.

She considered herself dumped when Kota told her that she was too boring.

Koshiba Mao was in a doldrum so she went to a bar and ordered the strongest liquor.  By the bar, a handsome guy asked her what she wanted to drink and can she drink.  They drank and drank and then Mao woke up in bed with the handsome guy.

She quickly gathered her things and left quietly.

She would have forgotten the episode as some mistake but then a new deputy director was appointed to their office.  He was Ando Hajime, the very same guy that Koshiba Mao had drank and slept with.  She was hoping that he had forgetten her and what happened to them.

But then he told her to meet him at the conference room where he told her that she was no longer Koshiba Mao but in fact  Ando Mao, his wife.  Apparently, it was her idea for them to get married and fill up a marriage certificate and file it.  He showed her a photo of them together holding happily to their marriage certificate.

Mao was beginning to warm to the attentive Ando Hajime but she found out that Hajime was also involved with Azuma Mika.  Hajime had taken Mika to the same restaurant that he took Mao to.

Episode 5

Mao found out from Yagi Yuka that Ando did go to the restaurant with Mika but they were not alone as Yuka and other colleagues were there as well.

Mao apologised to Ando for the misunderstanding. Ando said he will forgive her but she must do something for him.  She had to go on a date with him during the weekend.

The date went well but when Ando tried to be more intimate, Mao told him that she was not ready or even prepared to be fall in love again as it hurts too much when it goes wrong.

Poor Ando could not change her mind.

Meanwhile, at work, Mao helped Toka with his project as she felt a bit sorry for him.

Toka took this as a sign that Mao was still into him and that she had forgiven his cheating with Mika.  Toka told Mao that he knew now that he is still in Mao’s heart.  He said that Mao can continue cook rice for him and resume their relationship.  He went for a kiss but Mao slapped him and told him that he was disgusting.  She really made sure that he knew they were over.

Ando saw this.

Episode 6

Mao started to feel that she might have a future with Ando afterall.  But then this did not last long because she saw Ando hugging someone who confessed to him that she loves him.

Episode 7

Ando did not know where he stands with Mao as she was playing hot and cold.  Then she told him that she saw him with another woman so she can’t trust him after her previous history with an ex-boyfriend.

Ando was confused.  Mao added that she likes Ando so it is painful to go on as they are and she hopes that they can get a divorce.

Mao was really upset about it she ask her boss to go on a drink with her.

Her boss was sympathetic and seemed to know her relationship with Ando.  He told her that Ando was really into Mao.  Ando loves her.

Mao told her boss that this was not the case because she saw Ando with another woman.

Her boss invited Mao to his house as everything will be revealed.

So that weekend, Mao went to her boss house and met his two cute little children.  Mao knew that her boss had really been good to her so she offered to make the meal for everyone.  She advised her boss to perhaps take his little son to the park while Mao stay at the house to look after the little baby.  And she would cook when the baby was asleep.

Her boss said that the helper to cook would be around soon.

Now the baby was napping when the helper arrived.  It was Ando who was suprised to see Mao.  But before they could really talk, the boss arrived and so did his wife who happened to be the woman who was declaring her love to Ando.

Mao was so shocked.  Then, it came out that the woman was Ando’s older sister.  They then all got on famously.

When Mao and Ando were finally alone at Ando’s plush condo, Ando confessed that he had known of Mao previously and meeting her at the bar that eventful night was no accident.

He was going to tell her how he knew of her….

Episode 8

Ando said that he had first saw her when he was an intern in a farm near her hometown.   She was so kind to her but he did not even get her name.

Over the years, he kept seeing her but it was never a good time to approach her or sometimes, he woul missed the moment.

They had a heart to heart and decided to really give their reelationship a go.

Episode 9

Whoa, this is the penultimate episode but there is so much excitement and intrigues.

Mao moved in with Ando in his apartment.  He was like a child in his excitement.  But their honeymoon period did not last long as she found out that he is a chaebol.  The president of the company was Ando’s father.

Ando’s father will be announcing Ando’s engagement to Mika, who was from a rich family of the Eastern Group, during the 50th Anniversary of the company.  Ando told Mika not to worry about it.  He will sort it out.

Ando was on a business trip when Mao was set up.

Kota suddenly asked to marry her and told her that they should set up a marriage fund.  Mao declined but then he told her that he needed 400,000 for his father’s hospitalisation.  Mao told him that they were over and she would not give him a cent.

Mika maliciously told Mao that she was going to marry a very handsome guy and she would be quitting the job next month.  Mika was collecting the membership fees for the social gathering fund.  Mao paid her due.

The next day, Yagi excitedly told Mao that the membership fees had gone missing.  It was about 400,000.  Mao was surprised and suspected Kota immediately.

Unfortunately, they found the money on Mao’s drawer.  She denied having anything to do with it but the next thing she knew, she was being called to meet the president, Ando’s father.

The father told Mao to quit her job.

Epidoe 10

The father then showed her photos of her with Ando, with her brother-in-law and with Kota.  He made it appear that she likes men and threatened her that he will make the photos viral.  He then used emotional blackmail on her.  Saying that even if Ando refuses to break-up, his future will be ruined if he continues to have a relationship with her.

He also threatened the livelihood of Mao’s family who relies on the contract with Smart Food, the Ando’s company.

True enough, Mao recieved a call from her worried brother who said that their contract with Smart Food had not been renewed.  Without the contract, they are finished.  The brother then said that his wife was pregnant.

This pressure got to much for Mao.  So she started tidying up Ando’s place and left for good.

Finally, Ando is back from Canada.  He excitedly returned to the apartment and noticed how unlived it was.  He then found out that Mao’s belongings were gone.

Ando rushed to her sister and found out that Mao had left.  They did not mentioned about their father.

Ando managed to contact Mao.  They met up in the same bar when they both got drunk.  Mao gave him a completed divorce letter. She then told him that she does not love him and being with him was to pressurise.  She wanted out.

Ando could see that she made up her mind.  He was heartbroken but in the end he also completed the divorce paper.

Meanwhile, Mao had a breakdown in the rain.
