Plot Summary
I must say that it annoys me when female leads have these artificial long nails whether the genre is historical or period. It does not make sense and it is very noticeable.
Anyway, despite this out of context falls nails, the drama started cutely.
Captain Gu was smitten with Xiao Xiao as first sight.
Xiao Xiao was on a blind-date with a rather mysogynist character. Their conversation could be heard in the nearby table in the cafe. Anyway, Xiao Xiao could not tolerate how insufferable her blind date was so she left the money for their drinks and strode off the cafe.
The matchmaker was waiting for her outside and wanted to know how the date went.
Xiao Xiao told the auntie that the guy was no good. Auntie assured her that the next guy was tall and handsome.
Xiao Xiao was about to tell Auntie that she now off blind dates when she bumped into an army guy who went to speak to Auntie bemoaning that his blind date was no show.
Auntie smiled knowingly and look from Xiao Xiao to the guy. Xiao Xiao gleaned that her next blind date was the army guy.
This drama is sweetness from start to finish. No hidden nasties. All the characters are lovely except for a handful who are not too toxic, just gossipy.
Captain Gu is the perfect husband, very loving, very caring.
They had twins babies in the end.
