Plot Summary
Yun Chu was happily married to Huo Yuan Chao but it changed on their third anniversary with the arrival of Yuan Chao’s white moonlight.
Instead of celebrating with Yun Chu, Huo Yuan Chan was with his ex and her child.
The child was not Huo Yuan Chan but his ex managed to convince him to pretend to be her son’s father. She begged Huo Yuan Chan to keep this an absolute secret. He must not tell anyone including his wife.
Huo Yuan Chao agreed and made his ex and her child to become the centre of his attention. He neglected Yun Chu who was in dire need of his support as her mother was taken to the hospital for heart bypass. She can’t contact Yuan Chao at all.
She later told Yuan Chao that she wanted a divorce. He dismissed her and told her that she owed him big with his support of her family’s bankruptcy. He might consider divorcing her but she had to pay back the billion she gave her family.
Yun Chu said that she will find the money. Yuan Chao was actually in love with Yun Chu but he was megalomaniac and thought he could control everything including having two women at his beck and call. He genuinely thought that Yun Chu would put up with his ex and her child after he told Yun Chu to just ignore it.
Yun Chu became more determined that ever to divorce when she overheard Yuan Chao blaming his grandfather that it was his fault that he did not end up with his ex whom he loved and lost time to be with their child.
Yun Chu found the billion but Yuan Chao refused to divorce. Yun Chu then realised that she was pregnant so she asked Ninth Master who she was curing for his extreme insomnia to assist her to get an abortion because she does not want the baby. The Ninth Master happens to be the one who could really face up to the powerful Huo Family so arranged the procedure. But he did warn Yuan Chao that his lies will have a repercussion who would not want in his life.
Yuan Chao found about the abortion and it was too late. It was done.
Grandpa found out about it too and finally agreed to a divorce. It finally revealed that he was not the father of her ex’s son but it no longer had any significance.
Yun Chu divorced Yuan Chao who was heartbroken and knew it was all his fault.
