Plot Summary
Fu Qing Shao chose Mengyuan over Meng Huan as his contract bride.
Meng Yuan was the real daughter of the Mengs but Meng Huan who was adopted was spoiled by the family.
Anyway, Mengyuan only become relevant to the family as a way to get closer to the very rich Fu Qing Shao.
Mengyuan, who had just broken up with her boyfriend reluctantly agreed to a marriage with Fu Qing Shao after she had to signed a thick ream of paper contract which include prohibition of her falling in love or developing attachment to Fu Qing Shao. He told her categorically that he will not fall in love with her.
So despite being married for two years, they’ve only seen each other a couple of times as his business is abroad.
Meng Yuan had to have an operation to her eyes. She had to sign the consent form as she could not think of anyone to rely on or would really care about her.
