The wise man does not govern men from outside. First he changes himself and then his influence spreads.
– Chuang Tzu

2016 is getting nearer and for the Philippines that year will be crucial for Filipinos as they elect a new President and a Vice President, who will be in charge with running the country AS THEY SEE FIT.
2013 was the year that the anomalous pork barrel aka PDAF was finally exposed as the scam of all scams. Of course every one knew that there were rackets going on in the Government, but finally PDAF came to everyone’s attention as nothing more than a way to line purses for some unscrupulous people who call themselves senators and congressmen. Senators and top government officials and their minions involved in the corruption fight to keep their noses in the trough and also escape justice.
What the good people of the Philippines deserve is a new leader and government untarnished and willing to ensure funding reaches those that need it. A new government that is transparent and accountable.
Global Granary will highlight and put every potential candidates under a microscope, to see if they are more than capable to govern a country, which is in transit from being a third world and at a certain time known as the ‘poor man of Asia’.
Hopefully we will find the candidates who will pledge to bring change for the better and be worthy of our trust and of course our votes.
Although I know it is still early to think of the 2016 presidential election in the Philippines but with the current state of government that we’ve got, we cannot anticipate this early enough.
We have to prepare ourselves as much as we can. Vampiric senators have been sucking the lifeblood of the country.
Though economy is on the up, the recipient of bounty and glory are the people at the top. It fails to trickle down to the majority of Filipinos living on the bread line, who need it most.
We have to remember, we deserve the people we get in the Government, because we put them there.
We are, therefore going to examine each potential candidate and we are going to make our mind up – TOGETHER!
We are going to change our attitudes of choosing. We owe this to our children and grandchildren, to our parents and grandparents and most especially to ourselves.
It is about time that the rule of law is for the people and by the people. The MAJORITY rules not some swapang and buwaya who disguise themselves as lawmen.
We are going to examine each candidate and we shall mark them according to their abilities and their accomplishment. They have to prove that they are value for money and not money grabbing sharks.
Don’t let us waste our votes for those who are self-serving or worst inexperience and prone to being waylaid into doing corruption.

These people are supposed to be ready or at least seriously thinking about throwing down their gauntlet into the Presidential candidacy match:
- Grace Poe Llamansarez
- Mar Roxas
- Bong Revilla
- Bongbong Marcos
- Gilberto Teodoro,Jr
- Alan Peter Cayetano
- Antonio Trillanes IV
- Manny Villar
- Jejomar Binay
- Jinggoy Estrada
