I just watched this film and I can say that it is one amazing zombie film ever.
It is taut, it is dramatic, it is horrific, it is on the edge of your seat kind of scary.
Joon Woo was a young internet vlogger or influencer. One day he noticed the commotion below his apartment building. As he listened to Breaking News on television, he watched the people running away from people who were biting them. It got so scary that Joon Woo immediately decided to barricade himself in the flat. He was alone as his parents were visiting friends and relatives.
The news bulletin advised to self-isolate and lockdown as there is a virus that is so rabid that turned people into the living dead.
He made an inventory of his food situation and realised that he had only a few day’s worths. He blamed himself for not listening to his mother to go shopping.
It was day 20, no running, no food, and getting more frantic and he heard his family being attacked by zombies when they tried to call him on the phone. He decided to end it all by hanging himself by the ceiling light. It was basically hopeless.
He did try to do it too, he was beginning to struggle against the strangulation when he noticed a laser beam pointing at him and at the poster nearby inside his flat. Pointing to the word ‘no’ and idiot.
He struggled so much he was able to pull the whole lamp down from the ceiling thus freeing himself.
He then got to know a girl living at the opposite apartment building.
And from this moment on the film became a non-stop Joon Woo & Yoo Bin Vs the zombies.
Beautifully filmed with a taut script and very reliable actors.
Totally recommend.
