Pyramid Building 101 For Beginners

Ancient Egypt has been a keen interest of mine for many years. From 3000BC to 672–332 BC This magnificent civilisation flourished and influenced many other civilisations such as the Greeks and Romans. The ancient Egyptians build some incredible monuments and temples. Their greatest achievement was the construction of the Pyramids which were elaborate tombs for their Kings/Pharaohs ensuring transit to the afterlife which the pharaohs people could hopefully share in after helping construct these majestic monuments.
It was so see the pyramids up close and personal.
Below is an interesting  article  from  Ben Gilland  @ Metro Newspaper on the latest theories of how the pyramids may have been built.

I always have a tub of Bicarbonate of Soda (NaHCO3) just by the kitchen sink.

I find that it is the most effective cleaning agent for stainless steel like my sink and also my cutleries. Just a few shakes of the Bicarbonate of Soda is enough to clean and leave a sink sparkling.

Bicarbonate of Soda – Cleaning Solution

Bicarbonate of Soda is often overlooked when going shopping for cleaning solutions.  This is sad as Bicarbonate of Soda is not only an effective cleaning agent, it is also less harsh to your skin, especially if you suffer from an allergic reaction to some cleaning solutions that are available in the market.

The history  of Bicarbonate of Soda as a cleaning agent is as old as the ancient Egyptians.  They used NaHCO3 as a soap.

But today, it is more popularly known as baking soda, which is a leavening agent in cooking.

You might also have noticed that bicarbonate of soda is added to toothpaste to make your teeth sparkle and freshen your breath.
